PROFICIENT PAINTING INC

The bid was timely and competitive. Started work earlier than expected and finished quickly. Painted by brush. The paint job looks good though there are areas on a few windows over-painted. I would use them again. After my review Mike contacted me and asked how he could improve his Angie's list rating. It was already almost all "A's" but he wanted to improve his quality rating. He came back and addressed the over-paint on the windows. Now that's someone who wants to be known for doing a great job.

The project went exactly as promised, except for some unavoidable rain delays. The painters arrived on time and the project was completed as planned. The results look great - paint coverage is thick and all areas were painted well. There was not any paint over spray or damage of any kind. The workers were pleasant and professional.

Babysitting not required! While the estimate provided by Proficient Painting was in line with other quotes received (within 10% of the 'lowballs'), however their level of service and quality of work was far superior. My neighbors that went with painters who saved them a few bucks had to literally babysit and tell their painters how to do their job or have them back multiple times to address issues. Rob and his crew were extremely professional and painted the house with the care and attention I would have used if I had painted it myself. I can't recommend Rob and his team enough and my neighbors are kicking themselves knowing they will be resealing and repainting again before we have to.

THE OWNER ARRIVED ON TIME AND LISTENED WELL TO WHAT I HAD PLANNED. HE TOOK PICTURES OF THE VARIOUS ROOMS AND SUBMITTED A BID WITHIN 1 WEEK. HE WAS ABLE TO START THE JOB IN ABOUT THREE WEEKS. HE TOOK THE NUMBERS OF MY PLANNED COLORS AND HAD PINTS MADE UP AT BENJAMIN MOORE. HE AGAIN ARRIVED ON TIME, READY TO TRY THE COLORS ON THE WALL. BOTH COLORS NEEDED A BIT OF TINKERING. HE WAS PATIENT THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS. HIS PAINTING CREW ARRIVED ON TIME AND WERE FASTIDIOUS IN THEIR WORK. THEY WERE POLITE AND PATIENT IN TOUCH UPS. THE JOB TOOK 4 1/2 DAYS. THE CREW LEADER VACUUMED AND SWEPT UP ANY MESSY AREAS. THE OWNER WALKED THROUGH THE HOUSE PRIOR TO THE FINAL PAYMENT. I HAVE RECEIVED MANY FAVORABLE COMMENTS ABOUT THE PAINT JOB WHEN FRIENDS VISIT. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO HIRE THIS CREW AGAIN.
