They were in and out in a day no mess or fuss and the job was done perfectly. The line between dark colored walls and white ceiling and trim was razor crisp. There was no over splash or a misplaced drop of paint anywhere. It was a wonderful job done on time and with considerable expertise.

Due to an overwhelming response to a coupon there were communication problems and scheduling issues. The company was very responsive to my complaints and fixed the problem at no cost. The work was great and over a year later still looks good!

Very mixed experience. The lead paint removal was done by a subcontractor [reviewed separately], and problems with them reflect on PPR quality control, in my view. Wood repairs on garage & front porch went well, and they did a wonderful job restoring my weathered screen door, credit to an excellent carpenter, Sean. Garage was painted promptly and looked great, but I recently discovered it is peeling off the east wall already. We bought a deal for 1 room painted, and then delayed well past the use by date. Never-the-less Portland Painting and Construction was very understanding, responsive and professional. Two painters showed up and did a masterful job. Both my wife and I love the quality, care, and attention to detail that Portland Painting provided. Our only regret is that we didn't hire them 4 years ago when our entire house was painted! They will certainly be our go to painting and construction partners which we turn to on future projects. I whole heartedly recommend you take a close look at what they have to offer.

It went okay. I got my appointment but I waited so long for my appointment that I almost cancelled the order. I called them once and they said they'd get back to me. It took them almost 3 weeks to get back to my original phone call. I called them again so they called me back. They finally scheduled my appointment. Their advertisement was a little misleading because it was up to 1,400-square foot room. I thought they would paint the ceiling, walls and the trim but it only included the walls. They also wanted $150 for the ceiling and $50 for the trim. The painter was great but it took so long. I'd make sure we have a set time and a set date before we communicated that. If they couldn't make it, they need to communicate with me.

It looks great! I feel comfortable that the price was good, and very comfortable that if anything else should arise with the job, it would be addressed quickly and fairly. They were punctual, professional and responsive, and worked with me to find times that worked to get the job done.

I told them in June my daughter was coming and asked it there was any way the room would be ready by then. They said it would probably be two weeks before someone came out and did the measuring. Then they sent the estimate via email and it was way higher because I asked them about a couple of other rooms. I said could we just do the one room, which was what the big deal I purchased was for. They said yes, but that they were about four to six weeks out. It is now September, and this was in June, and I have not heard back from them at all. They have my money. I am sure they want to do the job in more than one room and where it is more profitable to them, but I am still a customer and I want one room done. The young man was lovely. I think it would have been a good price. The guy showed up on time to do the estimate. I felt he was professional.

It took a while for the job to be scheduled - June to Aug 3. Then when I called the week before to confirm the time of their arrival on Monday, they advised that they needed to reschedule to Tuesday at 8 AM.  They arrived early at 7:30 and the job took 3 hours.

It had to be scheduled third-party via a property manager so it wasn't just an easy make an appointment and forget about it. Amanda was awesome. she was friendly, she did follow up with me on status and she was impressive in customer service. For her alone I would use this company again

We received a frantic call from a tenant.  Portland Painting and Construction responded to them immediately.  They were able to assess the situation and explain the next steps to the anxious tenant.  Portland Painting and Construction worked around the busy tenant schedule and saved the day.   The water damage was seamlessly fixed and the room looks better than it did originally.  We professionally manage several homes in Clark County.  We have used PP&C for several painting and construction/light remodeling type of work.  They consistently go above and beyond.   Their prices are competitive and the work is superior.
