Property Appraisal
I found the company on the internet, from their website. After we paid the money to The Appraisal Group of America (also know as autoloss.com) I did an internet search on the company, and it included complaints by the Better Business Bureau. (If I had done that sooner, we would not have used them).
We forwarded the repair bill, the sticker price of the car to them. They wrote a report, Vehicle Diminution of
Value Report, comparing our car to the value of other cars and said that we should get $10,300 from the insurance company. The report was pretty wordy, had several spelling errors, the wrong body shop listed, and they did not use local car comparisons. The insurance ended up calling a local dealer, and completely disregarded the comparisons in the report. We settled with the insurance company for $7000.
I would not recommend this company for this service.
