They were wonderful. They told me everything they were doing. And put interest in what I'm doing in my house.

Fast, quality work. House was built in 1954 and foundation added in 1973. We needed the sills anchored to the foundation and ties from the joists to the two sills. Robert is a great guy, easy to work with. Helped with inspection, all went very smoothly. Nice peace of mind to have earthquake retrofit done.

Robert was easy to work with and he kept the scope of work reasonable to get the job done, without bloating the scope beyond what was necessary. Fairly priced and professional.

After a preliminary review of the needed work, Robert submitted a competitive bid. We discussed many of the specifics and restrictions. He suggested several ideas to make the job go smoothly. He was prepared to begin work within two weeks but my schedule required we push it out six weeks. He was accommodating and he began on the date we selected. Job took about two consecutive days of work. He was on time daily and was very clean in the work area. Yes, some noise but it didn't drive us out of the house. Completed the work as scheduled and on budget. Everything was done as I had hoped and I expect to use him again for other projects.

Robert did excellent work.  He was a joy to work with, on time and creative in his solutions given the issues that our 100 year old house throws at every project.

We had another company out and they advised that we replace the furnace. Sundance came out and quickly identified the problem and had the parts in their truck to fix it right then and there. I was very happy with their proficiency and prompt resolution. I will use them in the future for sure.

We hired Robert to remodel our outdated main bathroom and knew exactly how we wanted it done. He was very prompt with his quote. Once the project was underway, he worked hard to complete the job within his estimated time line. There was one unexpected nuance with connecting the new toilet location with existing plumbing but Robert handled it no sweat. In the end, we were very satisfied with the end product and would use him again.

Sundance is a family-owned company and they were great to deal with. They came promptly to schedule a quote. they were able to tell us quickly when they would do the work, and they did the work in the expected timeframe and swept up after themselves. Everything was great and we'll likely use them for a bigger project soon.

Went great!  Attached the house to the foundation, strapped the water heater, and some other various earthquake-proofing.  Robert's bid was quite a bit less than a couple of others that I'd gotten, and he is well-reviewed here on AL.  I was so happy I had him do 2 other houses for me.

The "experienced plumber" was training an apprentice. He repeatedly bragged to us and his apprentice about corners he was cutting and how he barely works thirty hours per week even though he is supposed to work forty. They were in our house for less than a half hour and we would never let them back. I feel like they take advantage of the home warranty system. Everything he said was "impossible" I fixed easily on my own.

We liked working with Robert Vigelant.  He was punctual--given the icey conditions--and efficiently completed his work in 2 days.  i think he had a lot of fun in our very low crawl space where he barely fit, but he got the work done in there.  He is a very pleasant man and his prices were reasonable.  I have recommended him to 2 friends and I know one of them hired him and also thought he did a great job.

Robert came to estimate the cost of anchoring my house to the foundation for earthquake retrofitting. He discovered that the house was already anchored, but he wasn't sure if it was anchored properly because the anchors were set in three rows of cinderblocks on top of the foundation. Instead of having to chip away at one of the blocks to see inside, he had the great idea of checking the Bureau of Development for permits on foundation work for the house. We pulled the permits and he came back to our house and took a look at them and determined that the anchors were seated properly in the foundation. He saved us a lot of money. He was very quick at replying to emails and came out to our house a couple times which was great because I'm sure he suspected that there wasn't going to be much work done. I really appreciate his responsiveness. I would definitely use Sundance Ore again.
(The charge was to write a letter to my insurance letting them know the house is fully retrofitted.)

Robert showed up to inspect the site within a few hours of my initial phone call. He sent me an estimate that evening. After I okayed the job, they were able to get started within a few days.  Because it was a relatively small job, they worked it in-between other work they were doing around town. The work was done in three or four different stages over the course of a few days because of concrete drying time.  At all stages they took care that the job was done correctly.  The final bill was several hundred dollars under their initial estimate since the job was less extensive than they had initially guessed. At this point I am very pleased with the work, and time will tell if it holds up.  As of right now, all signs point to YES.

Service was prompt and courteous.  The bid was very reasonable.  We aren't able to assess the quality of the work (until there is an earthquake), but our experience with Sundance was totally positive.

Robert was great! He was on time and very friendly. He had to charge more than what he would normally for a basement like mine because it was fully finished and I requested the drywall to be repaired at the end of the project. He did a great job and cleaned up after himself each day. When he was completely finished, I couldn't tell anymore where he had put the braces. The drywall was perfectly fixed and perfectly matched the existing drywall. All it needed was a littler primer and paint. I have recommended him to my friends. My friends had him do their unfinished basement and were charged around $800. They were also so satisfied with Roberts work and demeanor, they too will use him for all of their future remodeling work. Thanks Robert!

My wife and I foolishly bought a house (during the real estate hay days) that had a master bathroom that wasn't permitted. We recently entered into a contract to sell the home, but the buyer (and the bank) damanded the bathroom to be permitted prior to a close of the transaction. We engaged Robert to assist us with manuevering through the beauratic maze that is the permitting process. Robert was simply fantastic. He handled the process from start to finish. He worked closely with city to ensure the process went as smoothly as possible and he brought the project to completion in a very tight timeframe so that we could close on time. When the city got into the bathroom for inspections it was discovered the footings were not sufficient or to code. Additionally, added support was necessary in the roof and minor electrical and plumbing repairs were needed. Robert quickly and professionaly dealt with all the issues. Robert is tremendous. He worked with the city so that they would waive the applicable fines for the non-permitting. He is professional, diligent, honest, and very responsive. I never thought we would finish the project on time (especially since we were dealing with the city), but Robert did. I would recommend him to any and everybody. We will be using Sundance again in the future.

Robert came out and evaluated the foundation by installing a test bolt to make sure the bolts would hold before agreeing to do the work, which I very much appreciated. Fortunately, he was able to proceed with the work, which was completed professionally and on budget.  I was so happy with the work that I've hired SundanceOregon to install new basement windows.  I highly recommend this company.

We had a very positive experience.  Robert's bid was by far the most reasonable and free of marketing hype.  All the work was performed on time and on schedule.  The total labor was about two weeks, with a break in the middle for the footings to cure.  Our house is probably the most sound it has ever been.  Sundance Oregon will be the first company we call for any work in the future.
