Second Nature Landscape Design

|The work took about 6 weeks and Karla identified the folks we needed to
contact to complete the  work.  Only one plant out of 50 or so did not
survive.

|We are quite happy with the "look" of Karla's work - attractive without
being too busy.

|If you are looking for someone who will work very closely with you to
understand what you are looking for and to work within your budget, we
would highly recommend Karla. If you are looking for someone to do your
design and complete your job in just a few weeks, Karla would probably
would not be a good match. She is a one person business and prefers to
spend enough time with each client to insure she creates a landscape
plan that matches her clients needs

I was looking for a designer that would offer me something more than the generic look you get from many of the bigger nursery/landscape design companies. I feel so lucky to have happened upon Karla whose love of gardening and design fit perfectly with what I was looking for in hiring a designer. Karla was very patient and generous with her time and listened carefully to all my "likes and dislikes". Given her vast knowledge of plants, she was able to produce a beautiful and unique garden design for me. In addition to being an excellent landscape designer, Karla was a delightful person to work with. She was very professional but always available to share information about gardening and plants. I would not think of going to any other landscape designer now that I have worked with Karla and seen first hand the wonderful designs she creates.

They did a really good job and I like what they planted. I like the way they did stuff, but the owner was a little bit hard to get a hold of. I like that they do solid work though.

Aside from having to wait 3 days for a response from her initially, I was very happy with the work I received from Second Nature. Karla seems to know alot about different organic solutions for the problems I was having in my yard. She is pleasant, great to work with and I would definately hire her again or refer her to people I know!

I should have been more careful to screen the plans for my problem areas. Five plants died in the wet corner, others moved before they died and willows/wet land plants placed in area and there were also areas where shade plants were planned for in full sun. Overall, pleased with design and professionalism.

She did what she was supposed to do and she did not charge an arm and a leg. She did a satisfactory job.

Karla promptly responded to my call. She came out, summed up the areas and drew out several scenario`s incorporating my input as well. She had good ideas to soften the bare environment and present an inviting tone that is functional as well. She is a very good listener and quick to come up with a plan. I totally enjoyed working with her.

Karla was extremely attentive to what we were saying to her. In a nutshell, she took what I envisioned in my head and put it on paper in a way I never imagined possible. Her thorough knowledge of plants contributed to the selections she recommended based on my desire for contrast, color, texture, low maintenance and an overall sense of calm and serenity in the garden. She really paid attention to detail and gave us several suggestions about things we could consider in trying to achieve our dream garden. We are very, very pleased with Karla's work and would highly recommend her to anyone wanting their vision put on paper and beyond by a thoroughly knowledgeable resource.
