 + -1 moreIn my mind, this was a huge dreadful task. I was telling a friend how depressed and frustrated I was about the chaos. For the life of me, I could not find a pair of scissors or batteries or any other simple item. I thought it was silly to call someone to help when really, I KNEW what to do, just not how to start. Finally, I called and set up an appointment. Other than writing the check, it was nearly painless! Whenever I got overwhelmed, I went for a guiltless nap and Julie kept on working. I felt like the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders. She organized my shop, office, apartment, computer and vehicle. It was refreshing to be around someone so in love with her work. All that in five days was one of the best investments I've made.
Description of Work: I had moved from a house to a 1 bedroom apartment. Never knew I had so much STUFF! Complete chaos. Didn't even phase her. First she listened to my priorities and gave me a concrete list of reasonable actions. For example: Go get three Gorilla shelves and one book shelf from Fred Meyer. Set them up along this wall. Move the couch to here - yada yada. Then on our next 4 hour session, she took all the stuff and figured out categories and loaded up the shelves. I was supposed to label the shelves, but I didn't, so she did it on our next session. Now it's easier to put stuff back in it's official place than to just set it down. We did five sessions over 12 months. She even showed me how to organize my pictures and documents on my computer.
