After 3 years in our home - mice or voles decided to move in. We used Glenn because he was on Angies List. He came out and set up exterior and interior bait stations, and repaired screens to the crawl space. He showed me how to bait the stations and what bait to use - I bought some on Amazon. We still have mice or voles that eat the exterior bait, but none have made it into the interior - none of the interior bait is being nibbled on.

It went great! Glenn was prompt to return my call, able to give me an estimate over the phone, and arrived on time. Afterward he was happy to answer my questions about next steps and what sorts of things I could do in the future.

Great! No complaints. He came a second time for the ants. No charge. Yes I will hire again.

I was being overrun by carpenter ants inside my house...and, after trying every internet home remedy and several things from the store, I finally admitted defeat and started the search for an exterminator. I found Glenn through Angie's List, from a former employer that I called first. He recommended him, because he was closer to my location. I called, left a message, he called back almost immediately. As luck would have it, he was already on his way to other calls in my area, and was at my house in about 30 minutes! Glenn and his trusty sidekick were like family within about 10 minutes of arrival. Just good guys, very personable, friendly, funny. Then Glenn went all and quot;Ant Whispererand quot; and started walking around my house, and right up to a hollowed filbert tree in my yard...giant ant house! Armies of 'em, going to and fro. He pointed out how they like to live in the bark of many Doug Firs I have all around my house as well. He then sprayed the perimeter of my house, the eaves, around the doors,windows, etc, VERY THOROUGHLY, all the while noting for signs that maybe more extensive spraying might be necessary. You can tell he really enjoys his job, like he's a knight doing battle with dragons or something! He explained that the ants in my house would have to come outside to forage, and therefore cross the spray and be done for. They also sprinkled some ant bait granules around the filbert tree, and several of the Doug Firs nearest my house. As he sprayed, he explained everything he was doing, what it would do, cautioned me to wear gloves if I had to do any weeding etc by the house, and even pointed out a spot on my porch that might dry rot because of certain conditions there. I especially like that fact that he didn't try to and quot;upselland quot;...I had noted in my initial research that some companies want to get you into contracts. Glenn did tell me how frequently most people spray in this area, but in no way tried to twist my arm to get him to come out again. All in all, having the guys at my house was like a fun visit with some great friends who just happen to specialize in bug demise! I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to friends and neighbors.

We called Glenn and he called back within 30 minutes. He made his initial consult later that day and returned 2 days later to perform the work. He was true to his original quote and was very good at educating us on our needs. His service was efficient and effective. We haven't seen and ant or spider since! Thank you Glenn. Service was amazing. We have 3 small children and exposing them to pesticides is always a concern of ours. Glenn, being a father and grandfather, understands this and had a very thoughtful approach to ridding us of the bugs in a way that would not hurt our kids.

This is the second time I have had Glenn spray for ants, although I haven't seen them near the house this year, it has been a couple of years since he did it last. Glenn did a thorough job and also took care of webs and bugs on the siding. The best part is that there is no upselling, or entreaties to sign an expensive maintenance plan, which is generally unnecessary in this area. He does what I need at the time I need it. He is careful to check about pets, even our neighbor's cat, and make sure they are clear of the spraying for the amount of time needed to get the spray applied. Glenn is very knowledgeable about his work and can recommend other services if I really need them. So far, I have been fortunate not to. The price is great, and I feel I get my money's worth. It is also very important to me that a service person arrive when they say they will, and Glenn does that. Even calls right before to let me know he is on his way. I will certainly use Oregon Insect and Rodent Control again for preventative maintenance, or if I have any other problem with insect pests or rodents.

Glenn has been providing us with excellent service for years. He sprays our home 4 times per year without a contract, just on a gentleman's agreement and handshake, like the old days. If we ever need him, Glenn responds immediately. Once, our local area was invaded by carpenter ants. I mean, they were everywhere. I called Glenn and even though he was very busy (I'm not kidding, the entire town was crawling with ants) Glenn came out and sprayed the same day! When Glenn sprays, the next week we get a bill. Once, I completely forgot to pay. Something like 2 months later Glenn calls me to discuss the issue. I was sure I paid, but after I looked thru my bills and check book statements I realized Glenn was correct. You know, Glenn was very nice and polite and I apologized immediately then sent a check, LOL.....I thought for sure Glenn wouldn't spray our home again because of my stupidity, but he continues without fail. I would definitely recommend Glenn and Oregon Insect and Rodent control....

Glenn is a great guy and extremely knowlegeable. He comes when he says he will and does a great job. You couldn't find a better guy.

We discovered a MASSIVE rodent infestation under our house and in the duct-work.
Glen was very helpful and clearly knew what he was doing, but also recognized I was on a tight budget, so he gave me instructions on parts of the work I could do myself without having to pay him for it.
With my initial call, I told him that the rats were in the ducting and other areas under my house. He suggested over the phone that we vacuum the furnace and duct-work first, THEN use the bait and traps to finish off any that were left. I called the furnace company he recommended for the vacuum, and while they were a little surprised at that order of things (said most rodent controllers do their kill work first), they were willing to do the job with the live rats still in there.
Glen made one initial visit to identify access points where the rats could get in and out, and told me how to patch them myself (which saved me a TON of money compared with paying him to do all that work).
Once I'd patched all the access points and the furnace company had done their duct repair and vacuum, Glen came by with the traps and bait boxes and set them up in key areas to catch any remaining rats.
In the end, Glen was completely right to do the vacuum first----most of the rats were sucked out by the vacuum (I literally heard the sound of a bunch of large debris hurtling through the vacuum tube when they turned it on) and we quickly caught the few that were left. It appears we are now rat free now!
Glen's approach was unconventional, but worked perfectly and saved a ton of time, money, and dead rat cleanup work. And his price was VERY reasonable.

Glen was on time and very efficient. The area is very close to the river so all the neighbors have sugar ants. We have not had one ant since his spraying. I will definately use him agin.

This is the second time we have used Glen and will definitely use him in the future. He is very personable, thorough,
informative and his rates are VERY reasonable!

Glenn does a great job. My kids hate spiders and what Glenn does, really helps cut down on the amount of spiders that make it into the house. It also cuts down on the amount of bugs that collect around the outdoor lighting. I've had him come twice a year, spring and fall, for several years. He also helped us get ride of mice when we remodled our kitchen.

Arrived on time for estimate the day after I called. Knew his business, very informative. Returned on time the next week for the service. Did a great job. Have not seen an ant since. Good price and no trying to sell unnecessary services as so many pest control places do.

He did an excellent job the first time he came out checking for any apparant problems and access for rodents. Luckily for us, he found no problems and only charged us $25.00. We had him come back to do a thorough spraying for spiders. He sprayed and did another check for rodents. He would not come back to spray until the weather was condusive.

Our house is 3 stories tall and almost 5,000 square feet. First Glen removed all webs from house with a brush and vinegar solution. Also removed a bird nest from second story portico. Sprayed entire house (exterior) for carpenter ants, box elder beetles, etc. Placed child and pet-proof rodent traps strategically. He was very friendly and fun. He took the time to explain all the work and provided extra bait and traps. We had just had windows cleaned for a special event held the weekend prior. Glen was careful to avoid overspray onto the glass, and carefully removed any that did occur. Given the size of the project and the extras provide, the price was reasonable. Recommend Glen to anyone. Will definitely use again in the future.

UPDATE: Over three years later, we still have seen only an occasional ant. I still feel Glenn did an exceptional job. I would definitely recommend him and will call him when ever we need him again.

Glenn was very prompt in coming out after our first phone contact. He advised us to trim our shrubs away from the house, get our pressure washing and house painting done, and call him back. He said the insect killer worked for about 6 months, but lost its effectiveness from rain and weather, and didn't advise us to have the work done until after we finished our pressure washing and house painting we had started. We appreciated his honesty, did our work as advised, and called him again in July, 2010. He was again very prompt in coming out, did his insect control magic, and it has been about a month and a half, and we have not seen a single ant. I have referred him to others, and will continue to do so. My experience was very good. Glenn was very professional, efficient, and did more than we expected him to do. We will use him again.

They sprayed. He explained what he found and what he needed to do, took care of it. He guaranteed his work. He was very pleasant, took plenty of time to explain the chemicals as well.

Everything was fantastic. When he sprayed them, they came down from their homes. More are dying every day, so I know it is working. I tried myself with store-bought spray with no luck. He came and told me exactly what I needed to do prior to his spraying. He was early or right on time for each appointment, and he was very responsive—he rescheduled one appointment because the rain would have decreased the efficacy of the spray, which I appreciated. Their prices are very competitive, and although he recommended services he thought would be useful, he never tried to push unnecessary services on me. I watching him do the spraying, as well as wiping down the cobwebs and nests he saw. He was extremely helpful, and even gave me some extra advice while walking through my home with me. He even brought out a chainsaw and cut down a stump for me because he thought it might be an ant hotel. I was impressed that he went above and beyond, and there were in fact ants inside. Everything was just outstanding, and I would certainly use them again.
