Well normally because we thought that it was still under companion pets it was like ten pills for ten dollars well he had ten pills for an hundred dollars, so that's ten dollars for each pill that really throw me off and he is a good doctor but I think what he did wrong was he had a lot of  new students that just graduated so he was trying to give them experience but I think he went too hard too fast and bought a bunch of new machinery and everything. I think was charging to try and cover himself for all of them. I refused to pay it and he says well we can always take you to court and that scared me. Before he got crazy nuts with billing his business he was a great guy and loved animals and I liked how he was really knowledgeable but this getting too big too fast I think lot of people pulled away from him because they can't afford him, he would have been a little up from companion pets but still reasonable I think he would still have a lot clients but I don't see anyone going to his clinic like it use to be. I think things were more affordable people would take their animals in, you have young kids young couples and young people and if they can't afford their not going to get the recommended shots for animals and that's fair to the animals, the whole idea is to protect the animals.

I found the staff to be pleasant and knowledgeable, the Doctor was thoughtful, and thorough in the examination and treatment of my German Shorthair Pointer. I have no regrets in placing the care of my Dog with this Clinic. Health care for a pet can seem quite expensive as there is no routine insurance coverage for them like humans have. But if you care for your 4 legged family member as much as I do, it seems like money well spent.

First, we tried surgery and he let us know very clearly that the dog may not survive the surgery or if she does that it may not totally get rid of the problem but it will make her more comfortable and so she had a size-able lump and then in time they ended up going a couple of months later because it got worse. So then we had to have her put down and he was just so extremely compassionate and helped us through that process.

The animal stay well so I guess it has to do with their quality of care. I have no complaints. They are expensive and I cannot go to a cheap veterinarian.

We just moved here from Michigan at the end of January. We first chose Companion because they were the only clinic which carried Sentinel heart worm pills. They are the only heart worm pill that protects against fleas and 5 types of worms, including whip worm. No topical flea stuff to harm kids/pets and it's not a nasty pesticide like the topical stuff. We took our dog there for all of her shots and to get 6 months of heart worm pills. The whole staff was wonderful and so caring. They doted over our dog and made the whole experience pleasurable. Plus they were so cheap compared to the other local vets and didn't charge an office visit fee for the shots. We went back for an ear infection and again everyone was so nice and the price was great! We also have 2 cats we're going to take there. We will never go anywhere else!

Not only are the prices at this Companion Pet Clinic better than other local vets, but the doctors really seem to care about the animals they treat. It can sometimes be a bit of a wait to get in, as appointments are not allowed, but the caring staff as well as the four regular doctors make it well worth it. I would recommend this clinic to anybody!

THEY'RE JUST AWESOME. THEY LOVE THE ANIMALS. DOCTOR POWERS WAS BASICALLY TAKING CARE OF THE ONE CAT WITH THE SERIOUS PROBLEM. THEY SHOWED ME HOW TO GIVE PILLS. THEY ARE JUST WONDERFUL, ALL OF THEM THERE ARE.
