Mark has worked for other contractor's for about 20 years and is finally starting his own business. His prices were 15% less than four of the five other contractors we took bids from, but that is not why I hired him. His attention to detail and desire to do the best job possible stood out in all of the completed projects I went to look at. I found that to be true in my house. He discovered insect and water damage (due to LP siding!) in a Douglas fir load bearing beam that should have had a glue lam beam. He pulled off the amazing stunt of replacing it with only minimal damage to my drywall. His installation of windows and siding is precise, tightly installed and well caulked. He and his crew took care with wrapping my house with a high quality weather proof under wrap that withstood the Halloween storm and high winds in Troutdale. They kept the site cleaned up. I was leery about doing the windows and siding with the wet weather but they did a great job of keeping the OSB dry and wrapped everything quickly to keep my house dry. It is much cheaper to do this job in the fall and winter, so if you are considering getting your siding finished this season is a major advantage in cost savings. I would highly recommend this new, but very experienced and knowledgeable contractor for any and all remodeling, siding, window jobs you need done.
