J & R Floors

Jaime was referred to us by a contractor friend. Jaime is amazing. We call him the "Michaelangelo of wood floors" because all the floors he did are so beautiful. We live in a 1910 house and there are always surprises when we remodel. The oak floors in the living and dining rooms were covered in carpet. When Jaime removed it, the wood was fine, but there were some awkward seams between rooms. He finished them beautifully. He also installed new oak in our kitchen. He had to remove two layers of vinyl, one layer of particle board, and the pine flooring which had been damaged at some time in a flood from the sink. The new floor is so lovely and it blends perfectly in height, colors and trim with the dining room's original oak. He also refinished a fir floor in my home office. It looks so great. He made a good transition between it and the oak floor next to it. We couldn't be happier. He is very intelligent, and because he has so much experience, no matter what surprises were discovered, he could offer several alternative solutions. He is also very nice to have around, friendly and warm. I can't recommend him highly enough.
