We had the water pump replaced, as well as the timing belt, which was 170,000 miles old and needed to be changed anyway. These 2 jobs are often performed together as they are adjacent in the engine. Their inspection also showed that there was a small coolant leak, so that part - a flange - was also replaced. I know all of this because it is spelled out on the receipt in words that I can understand.
I have complete faith in High Quality Automotive. I have been going to Marco since he opened, when he was the only mechanic, and he has always treated us fairly and explained whatever needed doing and why. He will show you your old parts, if you are interested. As his clientele grew he has added other mechanics to the shop, and they are all good. They fix what needs to be fixed the first time. Marco is always onsite, regardless of who works on our cars, and we take all of our cars to HQA.
