Wayne from Gresham Custom Upholstery exceeded our expectations. We called Wayne and a few other companies we found on Angie's List. After speaking with them, we decided to go with Gresham Custom Upholstery due to his professionalism, fair pricing, and ability to finish the chairs in a very reasonable time frame. We are happy we went with Wayne and highly recommend him.
Our wonderful experience with Wayne started when we first called him. He quickly gave me an estimate after I e-mailed him a picture and description of our kitchen chairs. Due to my lack of understanding of the different fabric types out there, I picked something out at Fabric Depot that was not the right type of fabric to use on our chairs. Wayne quickly problem solved our mistake and we ended up with beautiful yet child-friendly chairs. He went above and beyond in helping us find a solution. In addition, Wayne was always very accommodating with our schedules and he was always available to answer our questions.
We were expecting our chairs to take a few days to finish so we were ecstatic when Wayne called the next day letting us know that our chairs were completed. Our kitchen chairs now look fantastic and the quality of his work is evident. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. I cannot say enough positive things about the whole process working with Wayne. In the future, if we ever need any upholstery projects, we will certainly return again.

He was knowledgeable, helpful, very competent and fast. The chairs were done in one week and they look wonderful!

Wayne was familiar with my equipment, had worked in another club.  He came out within a few days to examine the work to be done.  He was able to use the fabric that I had and was able to match it for the rest of the equipment.  He was able to do the work in the club, minimizing the downtime for the equipment.  The end result looks wonderful.  The price was extremely reasonable.

I was in a hurry - was expecting out of town visitors, and the chairs I
had previously ordered were suddenly cancelled, so I had to rush to
find new ones. The owner was very nice over the phone, met with me on a Sunday,
and completed my job in just three days because he knew I was in a
hurry. His price was also very reasonable. I would definitely use him
again!

My husband's easy chair's upholstery was wearing out on the seat cushion, and also there had been an incident where urine got onto the seat cushion. We contacted the upholsterer, went to his shop, and chose some possible fabric samples that we took home to peruse. We chose one from a book he recommenbded, that is easy to clean and is used in hospitals etc. Within a week he had gotten the fabric, called, and came over that day to get the chair. In two days he brought it back and had done a beautiful job. THe seat cushion is of a higher quality and is much more comfortable.

Wayne was a pleasure to work with. I initially sent him pictures and measurements to get an estimate. I went to his shop and he loaned me sample books to take home and pick out fabric. He was very flexible about when I needed to return the books. I found some material that I thought would work, but in the end I found something I liked better at a fabric store.
It was a couple months later before I actually contacted Wayne about doing the work. He was very flexible in working with my schedule. I ended up taking in two chairs at a time and paying as the work was finished. I was not in a big hurry but the work was always done sooner than I expected.
The chairs look awesome! I have a totally new look in my dining room. Definitely a quality job!

I supplied the fabric for him and it wasn't too much of money. My experience with him was very simple item but he did a beautiful job. He was very quick. I took stuff to him in the morning and he called me that afternoon and told me that it was ready. He has a very tiny shop and he works alone. Other upholsters you will have to wait six weeks or so but he was very quick. My work was very simple and I provided the fabric so he didn't have to order anything.
