Derek (our primary contact) did an amazing job of finding us the best deal on the quartz design we wanted, responding to our questions amazingly quickly, and making sure all the finishing details were taken care of. Our plumber commented specifically on how well the sink had been undermounted.

we have a half-round hardwood floor that abuts the family room. I was concerned about that but sal did a great job going around the curve.carpet looks great.very nice company and very professional.

The proper amounts of tile were ordered and arrived by the expected dates.

What can I say, nothing went wrong, everything went right and they exceeded our expectations.  Great people to do business with.

Flooring was available at a competitive price and arrived from the manufacturer on the East Coast in time for the scheduled installation. Note we had selected the flooring from samples at Linoleum City Portland; we never visited Gilford's store in Gresham.
We found Gilford's on the internet, and checked reviews, including Angie's List. One of the principals came out to advise, measure and close the sale. (That procedure differed from that of a competing bidder, Macadam Floors, who sent someone with a laser measuring device but  no experience in installing floors, and who would have had no way to report the specific challenges of this installation to her company). 
2 experienced installers arrived as scheduled with the flooring and performed an excellent installation with proper prep (thin concrete for leveling and smoothing irregularities from old flooring). They removed the old rubber coving, disconnected/reconnected the refrigerator water supply tubing. They were interactive with me throughout, accepting of my own problem-solving suggestions, and coming up with a much better idea for the carpet transition than previously planned.  They stretched the carpet bordering the new floor, folded the carpet under to make the transition, and stapled it in place in a very aesthetic and professional manner. This was builder-quality, 20+-year-old carpet with worn underlayment.
End result:  beautiful!

Great.  They were on time, very professional.  We used them before to install flooring and were most satisfied.  They did a good job, no return to fix anything was necessary.  I would certainly recommend them.

My husband and I had debated for a long time on whether or not to get carpet or hardwood installed in our home.  We were in no rush as we had moved in 2 yrs ago and ripped previous carpet out, which HAD to be done due to the smell, and had just the underlayment.  Finally, we made the decision to get carpet in just the bedrooms and wait on the rest of the house.  We took some time in our research of all the carpet companies and decided, after a few weeks to go with Gilford's.  The one thing that made me stick with them was their customer service when I would go in and borrow more than my fair share of the carpet to take home with me.  Each time I was greeted with a friendly smile and each time I always had a new question to ask which was promptly answered. :)  
We did have a snag at the beginning with lost carpet (not their fault, as it was with the warehouse/freight), and having to wait a few more extra days but otherwise all went as planned.  Their installers were professional and prompt, letting me know when they would arrive and when they needed to leave (for lunch).  They  also were careful in not damaging the carpet with too much foot traffic. :) 
The owners were good in keeping in contact via email and phone and making things right when the previous mentioned issue arose.
Will definitely use their service/product again. 

They did the job earlier than they thought they could.  They gave us the estimate and then allowed us to eliminate anything on the list we could do ourselves to lessen the cost. We were able to save approximately $400 by doing some of the prep work on our own.  The day they were to come they arrived exactly on time, cleaned up as they went, and were very friendly and courteous.  By 12 noon the next day it was finished.  I wanted the squares on the diagonal-which makes it a lot trickier-they made it look easy!
My husband Terry and I would highly recommend Gilford's for any flooring projects!

We hoped the installers could come early to give the best chance of completion in one day, and they did so. Zack and John clearly enjoy their work; they moved quickly, having all the skills and tools needed.  Their actions were like a Swiss clock, with no wasted actions.  They cleaned up as they went along.  Their customer rapport was excellent, but without diverting from their work. The old floor didn't have to be pulled up, just the metal cross-strips at either exit from the kitchen, and they had to remove the four inches up from the floor all around due to the old curved-style edging. They brought in the long vinyl sheet, laid it along the floor plan and cut it to fit, accommodating the kitchen's irregular shape; this included lying flat on their stomachs to get the sheet mounted under the two-inch gap along the cabinets.

Derek fixed a couple of holes in vinyl floor - looks good as new! Very thorough, professional, cleaned up after himself, nice guy.

Gilford's was 1/2 the cost of the estimate issued by Crown Carpets.  They were able to help select carpet that they installed within one week.  The installers were very professional and did a great job.  I would use them again anytime!

They are very nice and helpful and I would recommend them.  We just ended up going another route for this project, however we've used the in the past and they do a great job.

The choosing of the carpet was easy with the help that I had at Gilford's.  They are a "hometown" carpet and flooring store and I appreciated shopping with them. 
The carpet came in a timely fashion and they installed it on a day that met my needs.  The installers were efficient, friendly and accommodating.  They worked hard and I received a positive result.
