We had a quick project to raise a family room floor, install hardwood in 2 rooms, sand/finish the HW, and install carpet in 2 rooms. Nate initially came by and quickly turned around and provided a quote. After I obtained quotes from a few other contractors, I chose Nate due to his quick response time and competitive bid. Nate came by a second time to get detailed dimensions so he could order materials and carpet. He also said that one of his foreman could start in a week. Over the following 9 days, I called, texted, and emailed him at least 8 times to confirm start date but Nate simply ignored and did NOT return ANY of my calls, texts, or emails. I did get a hold of his office manager twice and she gave me different excuses each time (he's busy, he lost his phone, etc.) but said each time that she will have him call me - NO CALL! This delayed my project significantly - both in waiting for him to respond and then 2-3 weeks later giving up and starting over again with the next choice of contractors.
