Early in the summer we had a plumbing leak which caused a minor flood. we took the opportunity to give the house some much needed upgrades. Jason became our contractor by recommendation of two people who were at our house via our insurance company. both of them had used him: one to do work on his father-in-law's house and the other on his home. i'm very glad i listened to them. Jason not only did everything we initially asked him to do, he tackled all the jobs we threw at him along the way. he was professional, timely, considerate and meticulous in his work. he is a perfectionist. this is a nice feature in someone who is tile the entire shower in the master bath, as it comes out looking... well... perfect. we had another consideration: my dad has alzheimers. i explained this to jason and he handled it with aplomb. he was kind and patient. we were also able to trust him completely and could leave him at home, working hard, and return late, even after he'd left for the day without having to worry about safety or even mess. he cleaned up the area every evening and left us without debris or schmutz. as for professionalism: jason works hard! he was here the week of 106 degree weather, and though we don't have AC, he worked steadily, drywall mudding the kitchen, etc. he didn't waste time. every hour that we paid for his services, he was working full time. it took a long time to finish all the work we gave him. we kept throwing things at him to do. he did eveything we gave him, even when he had to take a couple days or week off b/c of a pre-existing engagement. he was also creative when asked to be. he built us a "built-in shelf" in the bathroom and it looks so charming. everyone compliments it.
