About us
We do alterations, tailoring & repair work on men's and women's clothing. We can custom make garments as well as alter. Hemming is our most common alteration and can be done while you wait. I went to the Art Institute of Portland to learn pattern making skills, so we can build dresses from design ideas to finished product. We specialize in bridal & formal gown alterations. The work was done perfectly. She used good quality fabric, dark fabric for the dark-colored pants and light fabric for the light ones. Michelle and her staff were friendly and professional. I am completely satisfied and will definitely use her services again when I need tailoring or alteration work.

She marked the length the sleeves should be, told me the date the jacket would be ready and the price. She was professional and obviously knew what she was doing. I came to pick up the jacket the next week and it is perfect. I was expecting to pay a lot more for this work, but found it was quite reasonable. I will be going back for other alteration needs!

The work was done on time and very well. We were fitted and left the tuxedos. Returned 1 week later and tried them on - they fit perfectly. Did not need to return a second time.

She did an incredible job. Totally reconstructed it and it was great. Made it look great! I have used her for basic alterations as well. She actually knows how to fit. She makes beautiful clothes. She's the best I have ever tried.

She is good. Nothing is a problem for her to do. She is fast. The quality of her work is very good. She just does what we need her to do. Her customer service is very good. I think I spent maybe around $89 the last time. I would use her again in the future.

I came in as a walk in with 2 pairs of pants that needed hemming. Michelle measured and hemmed both items within 10 minutes. She did a beautiful job and SO QUICKLY! I'm sure time varies with whatever else they may have going on or how many walk in's they have, but this exceeded my expectations. I'm a busy mom with two young one's and the time saved alone was priceless. Will definitely use her again!

"Just as a note on our hem prices, We are currently matching the lowest shop in Gresham at $10.00 per pair, When we are really busy I do charge $12 rush service to discourage some clients but the average hems in Portland are around $18 per pair. I feel our prices are reasonable for the service we provide and the experience behind the workmanship."

I have lost weight and had a lot of clothes that needed to be altered, and my mother recommended I take them to Michelle. Over the last month Michelle has altered at least 25 different items for me (shirts, sweaters, skirts, and pants), and the price per item has ranged from $6 to $18. Everything has turned out just great! I have made appointments for Saturday, and the clothes have been ready for pickup the following Saturday. Michelle is very professional, and she is also great about suggesting the most affordable way to alter something. She's a find, and well worth the drive if you don't live in Gresham.
