Cedar Fencing Plus

This was a technical job that other fence companies were turning down or gave us outrageous quotes. They kept telling us they could do what we wanted. Chad and Jerry’s quote was very fair and his work was amazing. Icing on the cake was his customer service. He attentively listened to me and my wife as our design unfolded and never batted an eye when we asked for changes. After the fence was finished we sold our home and moved out of state...the moving company backed their truck into the fence and knocked down a portion just before our open house. Chad was very empathetic and arrived the same day to fix and charged us very little for the repair. Because of our move and such this review is about a year overdue but had to be done. The fence and gate look great. Chad welded up a custom gate and did a great job. They used all metal posts which will last longer than any wood. Their price was comparable or better than other estimates I received and the materials were better. I am very pleased with the whole process.

Good communication, good workmanship -- just what I wanted.

Fantastic, professional, courteous, and informative.  I sought 4 bids from companies on Angie's List for our homeowners association to have a privacy fence built along the south border of our property.  We had arbor vita trees planted some years ago but several of them had died and others of them were not doing so well, so our board elected to have a fence built.  Jerry and Chad responded right away and came out with pictures of projects they had done and measured the property, gave me an estimate.  I really liked their approach, they were easy to talk to, explained everything and answered all my questions.  Some of the other fencing companies also supplied bids but were not as straight-forward as Jerry was.  Their (Cedar Fencing Plus) price was competitive and fair.  Their work is absolutely beautiful!  Jerry did tell me that with time the cedar will fade with the weather and elements, but we have received so many compliments from people walking past, and all the homeowners love it! It really adds a touch of class to the neighborhood.  I plan to hire Cedar Fencing Plus to improve the fencing on my deck next.  I can't say enough nice things about their work - it was a great experience all the way around.  Jerry also called after the fence was built to make sure everything is as we liked and to find out if we had any questions.  Plan to do business with them again!

I have used this company before and have been very satisfied both times.  Quality of work has been excellent and they have been great to work with.  I would hire them again.

Day 1, Chad dug the holes
Day 2, Chad set the posts in concrete
Day 3, cross bars went up
Day 4, fences half finished
Day 5, finished and clean up

Perfectly! Jerry (the owner) explained why our earlier fences kept coming down in the wind. He gave a detailed description of the planned work, including use of more concrete and deeper holes with steel posts. Chad (who did the work) arrived as scheduled, and was extremely meticulous in his craftsmanship. Our fence and gates are beautiful and I'm willing to bet they'll be standing for a very long time. Couldn't be happier with Cedar Fencing Plus.

They did an amazing job. The owner is very nice. They were very prompt. There was one man who completed the job. He cleaned up everything. I recommend him to everyone. It is a family business so they care.

They did a nice job. The gate was really expensive. I think we got overcharged for it. I think that they are pretty high priced. They were pretty good when it comes to their responsiveness.

went very well. got delayed because of a fluke injury from his gate guy but it got done and only took 2 days. quality is great and looks very nice, would definitely use these guys again. not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and quality is expensive.

Jerry came out in June and measured and gave estimates for new fencing that included 4 neighbors.  He broke down the estimate by neighbor.  By the time we got an answer and decision, it had been 5 months.  Cedar Fencing honored the estimate and scheduled and began work promptly as promised.  Excellent hardward and product were installed.  All neigbors were pleased with the finished product and most requested additional work to finish their landscapes i.e. gates or additional shared fencing.

Wow!!! What a job!!  First of all, Jerry is very personable.  He comes out and evaluates the problem, offers options and suggestions.  He then sends you a drawing/estimate with a final price.  After the date is set, his son comes out and does the actual installation.  His son (didn't get his name) is a perfectionist but makes it look easy.  Also the quality of the wood they use is exceptional.  We have already asked them for help for build a small trellis.  They are honest, they are friendly, and most of all, their work is exceptional.

We have a very wide driveway that we wanted a single panel gate across. It need to be set up for automation and never sag. Our driveway is sloped so they had to adjust the fencing on the gate to look good and be functional. We wanted to minimize the gap as much as we could because we were not interested in redoing the drive way or rewiring for double automation. Jerry and his son were AMAZING. Jerry came with lots of pictures to look at, prompt with quotes and explained how to make the gate/fence fit the space. Through our conversations we came to realize a smaller pass-through gate would be useful and he was able to measure it out on the spot. We found every part of the process easy and straight forward. We appreciate the personalization and attention to detail that was done. We will use them for any future fencing project.

I had a really great experience using Cedar Fencing Plus.  First the father came out and talked to me on what I wanted.  He took some measurements and emailed me the bid a couple days later.  He was REALLY nice and I could tell right of the bat that I could trust him with the job. 
The bid I received was lower by a decent amount from the other bids I recieved for what I believed was the same quality of fencing. Plus they are a father-son team which I think it's a big bonus when it come to quality.  In almost all cases an owner will care about your job more than any employee. 
They started on the day they said they would and finish as quick as they could.  There workmanship is Top Notch and you will not be sorry if you hire them. 

Excellent looking fence.  Not very punctual but the job was done well.

This was a great experience for us.  Jerry (the father) came out and fully explained the types of options I had for the fence.  The total length was about 175 feet, with one gate.  Once you meet Jerry you'll immediately feel like you're talking with a friend.  We accepted the estimate that was provided in a very timely manner.
Chad (the son) then came out and began the construction.  He's a big guy who just keeps plugging away.  He's a detail orientated type of guy and takes his time to make his work beneficial to your project.  The gate is seriously a custom built, sturdy and impressive part of the fence.  Outstanding work there.
The result was more than what I expected.  Jerry has been building fences since the first tree that every grew!!  :)    Several neighbors have already complimented us on the fence.  When they ask who built it, I just say "CEDAR FENCING PLUS."
With CFP you'll get full cut cedar boards, dog ear'd if you like, heavy metal posts and stainless steel nails to prevent that goofy run streaks you see on other peoples fences.

Jerry, the owner, came out and measured everything to give me the estimate. Of all the people who provided me estimates, he listened the best and had the best solutions for my situation. I'd recently had people sneaking into my backyard at night, so I wanted to fence off an open side and add a gate, and he had several ideas about how to make the backyard extra secure. Jerry was willing to work with me on the price and gave me thorough information about the materials he'd be using, including the cedar, stainless steel nails, and cabling that will keep the gate from ever sagging.
His son came out and built it and did an absolutely fantastic job, particularly since there are several large lilac bushes and other shrubs that must have been a bit tricky to work around. He took good care to avoid harming the plants, and the fence is absolutely beautiful and sturdy. From start to finish this was a wonderful company to work with. Only problem is that now that side of my yard looks so good that I want to get the rest of the yard refenced! When it's in my budget, I will definitely be calling Jerry for that job as well.

Wonderful!!!  I highly recommend Cedar Fencing Plus!  Justin, the owner showed up promptly and did amazing work, the fence is perfectly straight, even he was pleased about the fact there were no tree stumps or issues that could potentially create a minor tweek to the "line" given all the trees along the property line.  Justin's work ethic was exceptional from start to finish!  He provided a very impressive & detailed estimate, worked through torrential rain and completed the work on time.  His attention to detail was also great!  He built a gate for us between the fence & our shed and one for our neighbor between the fence & her house, not only are they sturdy he added nice hardware to accentuate them .  If you are looking for a job well done worth every penny, call Cedar Fencing Plus!  I hear he does decks too...

Jerry and his son did a great job! It was a little bit of a slow start because Jerry's son came down with the flu, but he can't be faulted for that. They did a beautiful job on the fence and made sure everything was just right, which we really appreciated. The double gate came out even better than I imagined (and that's saying a lot)! Every time we see the fence, we (and friends/visitors) comment on how great it looks! They did a great job and if/when we decide to do a fence in the front yard, we will definitely hire them again!

From the estimate to the completion of the project, people came when expected, worked carefully, and picked up after work. The fence design was suggested by Jerry to reflect the qualities we wanted. The resulting fence is elegant--beautiful cedar used in the construction, a complex design well executed. I could not be more pleased.

Jerry took the time to explain the finer details, such as the importance of putting fence posts on metal brackets vs. simply setting posts directly in concrete.  A great product at a fair price.  The timing went as predicted and they were able to work around a tree near the fence line.

Jerry and his son came and worked two days on the balance of the fence tear out and its replacement. They did a really good job and gave the back yard a whole new look. They tore out the old gate which was only 4' wide and replaced it with a 10' gate. Jerry was very easy to work with and really took pains to be sure he was giving me what I wanted. He talked with me about what they would do and offered me choices and answered all my questions in the process.  They cleaned up all the old fencing and hauled it away leaving me with a fresh looking yard.  Jerry was very easy to work with and very conscientious.
