Mr. LaChance requests a deposit of $1800 to "get into his queue" yet when we were ready to use his services he had moved to Southern California to teach for two semesters and not left a forwarding number. He expected us to be amenable to him doing our designs remotely without ever having seen our new house, the new elevations, retaining walls, etc. When I asked for our money back he became silent and we still are out the $1800 PLUS the amount of money spent trying to chase him down using the small claims court process, but without success. On the surface, seems like a nice guy, but after this I can honestly say he is astoundingly dishonest.
