The job started well but as soon as I had to leave the country the work stopped and would only resume in fits and starts. The workmanship of around half of the job is adequate but the rest of the job is awful. So many promises from this contractor and almost every job he had control over is going to need to be redone.
When the final payment for the work was requested long before the work was done I agreed to part payment. As soon as that was received Mr Charbonneau demanded more money and when that didn't come because it was just the last few thousand dollars of the project Mr Charbonneau screamed at my wife and I and stormed off the site saying that he would not be back because we had not shown him enough appreciation.
I would strongly advise others to stay clear of Carling of America or any other company Mr Charbonneau is involved with. It is my opinion that this man will not honor his contract with anyone.
