Bruce spent several hours going over our property with us, discussing types of trees, tree health, flammability, snow damage, effects of wind after pruning and/or removal. Jessie and crew spent over a day and a half working on property. They were prompt, courteous, thorough, and used good judgement in thinning and shaping of trees and canopy restoration. Excellent job - trees look beautiful and there is more light in the house.

Jesse was on time, & a complete professional. He was very knowledgeable, figured out the problem in a very systematic thorough way. He shared so much helpful information, suggestions, & outlined a plan to rehabilitate the trees that he felt still could be salvaged. He wasn't in the slight bit pushy, & even stated he thought I could complete the work myself, but that he would send me a bid by email if I would like him to. He even tried to give me some of the product he suggested to use on the tree roots, but I didn't let him! I can go out & get that myself, not use what he had on hand! I had had someone else out last spring , who tried to convince me every other tree needed to be cut down of my line of 88 trees, otherwise eventually they would all die. Jesse said that would definitely do nothing but hurt the remaining trees which would encourage further bug infestation damage, not to mention permanently destroy my privacy screen. He spent at least 45 minutes walking around my property, analyzing the issue, and giving great advice. I told him on the phone prior to him coming that I needed mainly a consultation and that I would probably be able to do the work myself unless it was something bigger than I thought it would be. He still came out, on time, spent a considerable amount of time, shared his knowledge with me, and didn't charge me a dime. I wouldn't hesitate for a second calling them back for any tree service related needs. And also his bid was a very reasonable price.

We have an extremely large fruitless mulberry tree, it was so overgrown we almost had it taken out, thinking it was beyond hope. I'm glad we gave A-Z the job because now it is seriously beautiful.
They took what I thought was a hopeless mess and turned it into the masterpiece of the yard. They thinned out tons of dead wood, trimmed all the branches that were overtaking the yard and now the tree looks healthy, we're amazed at the transformation. The tree still has a shade canopy, and yet the light is able to shine through much more beautifully.
The crew (4) arrived on time, were friendly, worked all the way through (and it was hot) and did a professional job. They also took out two small trees that were growing underneath (okayed by us), cleaned up everything, chopped some firewood logs, and amazingly did no damage to the surrounding landscaping while removing large branches, a fantastic team.
I would definitely have them come out again!

We had them out for an estimate and they scheduled us for the following week. A crew of two came out and worked for over 4 hours on these trees. The gentleman that did the pruning did a simply fantastic job. The trees were trimmed way down and put into that wonderful umbrella shape. We'll actually be able to reach the fruit this year. I couldn't be happier The neighbors have all commented on what a nice job he did. And the ground crew person made sure the grounds were spotless. Every piece of trimmings were chipped and hauled away. Even pulling the chipper into the general area, they were careful not to disturb the ground any more than one small area. They parked it in one spot and walked all the branches to the chipper.
In addition to the nice work they did, they were very generous with sharing information on caring for the trees going forward. And even looking at a couple of our other trees with suggestions on care and trimming.
We had another trimmer out to give us an estimate and he had taken one look at those apple trees, looked at us and said 'I don't want this job' and was gone within 3 minutes of arriving. But A-Z had no issues with the size of this job and what it would take. So they have my business going forward.
The trees were done in February and are now all blossoming and leafing out. Not a dead branch on any of them.

The man scheduling and estimating the cost of the service arrived promptly. The company offered a special price that discounted the service cost by $200.00, which was appealing. The workmen had a conflict in their schedule on the first day that service had been planned. When rescheduled, they arrived promptly and worked at a steady pace until the job was done. Branches and large bushes were all removed, so that there was no trace/no mess of what had been there previously.

Bruce arrived when he said he would. We had a number of fruit trees that hadn't been pruned properly in several years. He gave his opinion on the best way to prune the trees. He was reasonable in his pricing and willing to work with us. Other estimates we got were either very low, but the crew didn't know what they were doing, or very high. A to Z seemed most reasonable but still knew how to properly prune trees. We took advantage of the coupon they offered and Bruce was thorough in reviewing the health of our trees and made recommendations. He also gave suggestions on what needed to be done to make an effective fire-break on our property. The men that did the pruning knew what they were doing and were hard working, efficient and did what we asked with regard to pruning.

Our house in Ashland is rented and we live in Nevada. We arranged the project with Bruce Zeigler by phone. Bruce was thorough in his assessment, attentive to our needs (after discussion with Bruce, we chose to do only some of the several projects he suggested), and always accessible and accommodating. His workers did everything that they said they would do (including sending before and after pictures), did it when they said they would, and kept us up to date by phone on the scheduling, completion, and photos. We only have local Nevada prices for comparison, but expect that we paid top dollar. From the photos, it looks like we got top quality for our money. If we have more tree work in Ashland, we certainly will call Bruce again.

They were responsive, and came out quickly. They had a 3 or 4 person crew. They cleaned up well after themselves. The guy that does the climbing was very careful in what he took and what he left. He left the oak tree looking pretty much like a sculpture because he was so talented with what he was doing.
