She was very, very happy.

The quality of their work is horrible. The weekly service was supposed to include mowing, edging and blowing for $150 a month. There were many times that edging was not competed nor the blowing. I had to rake up piles for the crew to pick up on several occasions and last Fall they left piles in the back yard after the Fall season, and did not pick up until I informed the owner. I contacted the owner when edging was not completed and he told me they would edge the following week which defeats the point. I was never offered a reduced rate for the work that they did not complete nor would they come back another day in the week to do the job that they were paid to do! Most recently, I contacted the owner because there were leaves in the yard that had fallen over several months that were never blown or picked up. This is the response that I received from the owner verbatim- "Don't text me on the weekend. You already have a great price and we try are our best to make you happy. If you need a a new service, then you should find one". Obviously they do not try their best as they don't even perform the basics, edging and blowing on a consistent basis. I noticed on Happy Rock Landscaping Website that they are hiring for workers, paying $12.50 an hour. The low wages may mean that they have a high turnover. The owner rarely ever came to my home so there was a lack of supervision. Most of the time, they spent no more than 15 minutes at my home. The only thing that Happy Rock was good at was sending the monthly bill! I noticed other Angie list comments for Happy Rock with poor ratings where the owner cancelled their service when they complained. I would not recommend using this landscaping service.

It was horrible! They didn't get the work done that I requested, even for something as simple as mowing a certain area. In the long run they ended up firing me because I wasn't cost effective for them.

They are above board fabulous.  They show up every week when they say they are going to.  Their employees are always super courteous, very good, they clean up wonderful, they never have to be asked, they never missed anything, and they are very professional.  In that industry especially it seems that there are a lot of flippy contractors.  They are always very polite, they shut our gate like they are supposed to and not let our dog out of the backyard, and they come in and they do what they are supposed to and I see them next week.  They are wonderful and there has never been anything that I ever had to talk to the owner about or anything negative.

Only thing that was good about this company was the owner's responsiveness. The crew was terrible. They did incomplete and shoddy work, sometimes not doing an entire part of the yard.

After I reported this a few times, the owner called to say that he wouldn't be working here anymore. His reason was that the work here was not "cost-effective." He quit just prior to the fall massive leaf fall, leaving me to find someone else or another company at the worst possible time.

This was a terrible experience.

They come rain or shine, once a week. They take care of any pruning and any problems I have with my lawn. They're absolutely fabulous.

Every week Gary's guys come out and mow the lawn, edge, pull weeds, rake leaves, and blow off the deck and driveway.  They are consistant with the time they arrive and always leave everything cleaned up.  If there is ever a problem or question, Gary always responds quickly.  If I ever need extra help with the yards on my rentals, Gary is always a big help then also.

We are very please with the service.  They have been coming for the past six months or so.

They do come over for maintenance, every week. They are fairly priced and do a good job. I can explain them things and they?ll do it for me. They have done a lot extra jobs, in spite of his schedules on my rented properties. I like their services and will use the same in future.

The crews from Happyrock are excellent. I have never had a bad crew out to my home and I have been using this company for well over a year now for my once weekly lawn maintenence. They come when they say they are going to - rain or shine. They quickly and efficiently mow, edge, and blow off my patio's. My yard looks excellent when they leave. The employees always look professional and act courteous. The owner occassionally will be the one to take care of my property just to make sure that everything is being done according to his standards and if there is ever a problem, I know that Gary will take care of it. I receive a bill once a month and I couldn't be more pleased with how well my service goes each week. Definately hire Gary and his teams - you won't regret it!

Gary from Happy Rock continues to do bi-weekly yard edging. I also asked him to spread barkdust last spring and he gave me a reasonable price. The work was done efficiently and I was very pleased.

I feel that the crew from Happy Rock Landscaping do a very good job. I am very satisfied with the work they have done. They are friendly, knowledgeable and energetic. I will continue to use their service in the future.

Provided good estimate and participated in the service. I left and did not oversee work. When I returned the front yard looked good, although they left some evident mess and the back yard. Seemed like they got in a rush and didn't finish picking up.

Happy Rock's estimate was in line with the other estimates I received and they performed the work when they said they would. Although I never met Gary, I coordinated the work via the phone and it was finished while I was at work. Gary followed up with me via the phone and invoiced me for services. He did a good job overall and I have asked that he come back to help me in the fall.

I called Gary for an estimate at the first of the summer. His estimate was fine but he was extremely busy at the time and wouldn't be able to get to my place for at least three weeks. We did the work ourselves but decided we needed some maintenance on regular basis year long. I called Gary again and he came out when promised and gave me a bid of $135 a month. Today was the first visit and I am very pleased. Two people worked for at least an hour. They did a great job and left everything cleaned up and removed all debris.

I will hire him again!

When I first called Mr. Todd, he was just finishing up another job in the area and was able to come over immediately to give me an estimate. I thought the estimate very fair and hired him on the spot. On the day we scheduled, Mr. Todd called to advise me that one of his crew (he normally works with 2) was in a bad automobile accident on his way to work and was taken to the hospital. He was upset, as his crew is like family to him. I told him it was ok to delay or even reschedule the work but within the hour, he arrived and started right in on the job. He stopped only long enough to tell me how his friend was doing. I was so impressed with his character and the job he did for me that I have hired him to do my on-going yard maintenance.

Gary does nice work, he is very reliable and professional, and he has been very responsive to any special requests that I have made.

GARY DOES GOOD WORK AND CLEANS UP AND TAKES AWAY ALL THE MESS. HE KEEPS ON SCHEDULE AND CALLS IF HE CAN'T BE THERE ON TIME. HE ALSO WEEDS AND DOES PLANTING WHEN WANTED. HE IS PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH.
