He did an excellent job. Very competent, great attention to detail. He is obviously experienced. You can tell he's done this kind of job many, many times.

It was all great. Tom was super responsive, punctual and did great work for a good price. Will definitely use again.

As part of a larger remodel and repair operation, our contractor installed a new front door purchased from Home Depot. The install was not properly aligned and would not close or seal properly. The contractor did a great job in other areas such as framing, siding, deck building etc., but properly installing and aligning a door is a special skill that not everyone has. It is hard to find a real door hanger but after a search we found Tom. He was able to take apart and reinstall the sash and door and we now have a beautifully operating and sealed front door. I would highly recommend Tom for any door problems you have, he is a real craftsman.

The work went very well and Tom fixed things in a hurry.  I had to ask him how he learned to be such a good handyman and found out that he has actually been one since he was a small child helping in his fathers lumber yard.  Tom is diligent and very calm.  He seems to be able to tackle any fit-it job but says doors are his specialty.  While in my laundry room a huge black spider crawled along the wall by the dryer and Tom very calmly reached over to capture it and put it back outside where it belonged.  Unfortunately, the spider got away but I was impressed at how non-excited Tom was.  I guess I just don't like spiders!

He came out and inspected, and then told me he could do this, no problem. I scheduled a time, and he repaired the weather stripping, made adjustments to the door jam where cold air was leaking during winter, and replaced the door handle, etc. It took him a couple hours at a very reasonable price...about 1/10th of what Home Depot told me I'd need to spend. This is quite the specialty, but if you need a door repaired, Tom is an expert. For the first time in years, my door opens, closes and locks with ease.

Everything went fine. There were no surprises, and he did everything that he said he was going to do.

Tom picked up the stormed door from Home Depot and installed it. He recommended reversing the opening which had always been a pain. He also advised against replacing front door and repaired it instead. Everything works very well and the work was great.

Mr Brown ( a one-man operation) came when he said he would, fixed what I asked - and then some - and didn't try to talk me into anything exotic. He's been doing this for many years, and really knows his stuff. He also hangs doors. I will call him back in a flash if I need him.

After our carpet installers completed they told us they could not reinstall the doors because of the carpet. We needed a door expert right way. Tom came out on short notice and did an excellent job. We will call him again for other door work.
