A PLUS PROPERTY INSPECTIONS

The inspection took less than an hour. I expected to be involved, and when i started wondering why it was taking so long for him to return from his truck, i found he had already finished the outside. He banged his ladder into walls and the floor repeatedly. The end-product was boilerplate of all the things the scope of the inspection couldn't include (like checking all outlets) and looked like it took under five minutes to prepare with no photos, and the only recommendations being to have the sellers spray moss-killer on the roof and clean the gutters. I was told these happened and neither did. After i bought the house and moved in: the dishwasher was broken, the furnace condensate pump was broken, the back porch light has its wiring running over the roof and drilled through the roofing, and doesn't work, other outdoor wiring is exposed, half of the gutters can't drain because the downspouts are at the wrong locations, the foundation has major cracks, the location of the fuse box isn't to code and some electricians won't work with it... I've seen the reports friends have received from other home inspectors and in comparison this was a joke.
