It's an old garage door opener but Jamie fixed it quickly even though there were unusual wear and tear problems.

Jamie did a great job.  He made the effort to come out a little before 5 pm after a long day in the Albany area.
I already had to leave the door open all night the night before because the person I had called out the day before didn't know what he was doing.
Jamie not only got the cables back in place, he took the extra steps in lubing the rollers, tightening loose fasteners, adjusted the spring tension and adjusted the rail because it was binding.
It's comforting to find someone who knows what they are doing and you can rely on them.  I would definitely use him again.
And reasonably priced.

Jamie Minshall is wonderful.  Very professional; very friendly and not pushy in the least.  Very knowledgeable and has colleagues in the Industry that he shares new information with.  A very caring person!  Terrific prices as well.  Another plus that we appreciate is that he is local to us here in Cornelius.  He brought everything he needed, including many parts so he did not need to leave and come back the next day with a part. 

Super punctual.  We had feared that it would be a few days before our garage door could be repaired and we also thought it might need to be replaced.  Jamie was so wonderful to come as soon as he could and made the repairs that day without even hinting that he would need to replace the whole unit.

We have had other repair people come out for other items and many of them immediately stated that we needed to hire them to completely replace our appliance/toilet/etc.  We were SO relieved that Jamie right away was able to REPAIR it and never even suggested that it needs full replacement.

This was for a newly built house and we were tasked with finding someone to install garage doors; the general contractor didn't have anyone to recommend. Once again I successfully used Angie's List to find just what we wanted: someone local, competitively priced and highly rated. Jamie seems to do it all, keeps a lot of jobs going at once, but we never felt rushed. He made recommendations for our house (insulated doors were needed), measured, and gave us a firm estimate on the spot, which we accepted. He showed up when the doors were ready, on the day and time frame he said. The work ran into a second day, but everything was done perfectly, and the doors are a lovely addition to the home. I would use him again in a heartbeat!

Would highly recommend Eco Installations to everyone we know..

I would certainly recommend Jamie. He diagnosed the problem in a couple of minutes, and it was repaired so quickly that I was really impressed. I could see that he takes pride in his work - which seems to be all too rare in the day we're living in.

I was ORIGINALLY working with ANOTHER company, who sent someone out to fix my garage door. They didn't address he problem as the garage door opener was acting up again the next day. The did do maintenance on the door and charged me $95. When I called them to come back and finish the job, they were unable to do so, but sent out Jamie and and his company (without consulting with me first). That was a lucky break for me! Jamie came out, spent the time to figure out what was wrong. He then returned the next day to install a much better garage door opener. He was on time, courteous, and professional and clearly knew what he was doing--unlike the previous company. He spent the time to test and re-test the door to make sure it was working properly--unlike the other company who spent just 20 minutes at my house. I will recommend Jamie in the future!

I did call the other company to let them know my concerns. They will be refunding me 1/2 my bill in return for not writing a negative review on Angie's List.

Jamie was prompt for the estimate and on the day the work was done. It was an all day job, IN THE RAIN! He arrived with all the necessary equipment, was very professional, emailed our receipt of payment on the spot, and the new door looks great. We would highly recommend him.

We hired Jamie to install 4 garage doors about 15 years ago. He did a great job and the doors have worked flawlessly for all those years. But the inevitable finally happened and the spring on the most used door finally broke. We called Jamie, now owner of Eco Installations, and told him our problem. Over the phone, he explained how to properly disengage the door opener so we could manually open the door and get our car out. Although he had a full schedule that day, he said he would come over when he finished his other appointments. He made it to the house in the late afternoon and replaced the broken spring and we were up and running again in less then a day. As before, he was professional, courteous and prompt. The quality of his work was excellent. In addition to replacing the spring, he made sure our sensors were clean and properly aligned. He also inspected the springs and various parts on the other 3 doors and reported that they all looked good. I would definitely use Jamie and Eco Installations again.

Great service and overall experience! Jamie at our agreed appointment time to size the job and review types of openers and options. The opener was acquired, delivered and installed within 48 hours due to availability and in support of my schedule. The overall product cost and labor were well within my budget expectations!.$
