Norman Wells, the member of this family owned business with whom I interacted, was knowledgable and professional throughout our dealings. His crew members worked hard and quickly, and the experience was positive.
After our rather steep driveway had been regraded a bit and widened as I requested, the new asphalt was laid and rolled. Within a year one section appeared to be losing material. Norm responded immediately to my request that he make an inspection. He determined that the driveway needed to be sealed. He would not absorb the entire cost of that, but he did offer to split the cost of the extra work. I accepted.  Sealing seems to have solved the problem, and it has been 18 months.
One of Norman's crew members was particularly adept with making judgements to provide effective drainage.  I was impressed with the subtle changes made in pitch in various areas.  Drainage is much improved.
Norman and his crew also did some tree removal and some grading and gravelling on our vacant lot next door to provide a parking area for our fifth wheel. This part of the job also was done very well.
