These trees were very tall and in close proximity to my house. The crew methodically cut a section at a time making sure to tie off large branches before cutting. I was amazed at how precise they were in where the limbs fell so as not to cause any property damage. The job only took a couple of hours and they reviewed the completed project with me to ensure that nothing had been missed. Very well priced for this job and the crew made sure to ask questions to ensure that the project was being done according to my expectations. I would highly recommend this company for any tree service. It was beyond my expectations and all the debris was removed as agreed upon.

I requested a quote over the phone, and emailed them a diagram of what I wanted done. I had a written quote the next day. I called to accept and schedule the job. Since it was't a high priority job, I chose the option of having the work done on a "fill-in" appointment, to be completed some time within 14 days, when they were in the area. A few days later I came home from work and the job was completed. The removal site looked great and they even swept the sidewalk and driveway. This is the 3rd job they have done for me, and I have been satisfied all 3 times. I highly recommend them.

Rich's Tree Service did a really good job. They were 50% less than the other quote that I got.

It went very well. Since it was so long ago, I don't remember details. But the tree was very large and Rich's did it in a few hours. They used all safety precautions and were very professional. I would definitely recommend them and in fact did so just last week. I think their pricing is somewhat higher than some competitors, but I believe you generally get what you pay for!

I have used them several times in the past and I am happy with their services. They trimmed a large tree and they did a pretty good job. Their staff is well trained arborist.

Rich came out and gave me an estimate of what trees should stay and which ones were dead and should be removed before falling and causing damage to my house. He was very professional and accurate with his assessment because after the recent ice storm I had no fallen trees or branches which is amazing considering where I live. The crew he sent out was very professional and experienced. I had heard horror stories of tree services cutting trees that subsequently landed on the customers homes so I was a little nervous at first but everything went down without any surprises. This was my first time using a tree service company and I was extremely impressed and would recommend Rich's Tree Service to EVERYONE.

I called Rich on Sunday and he came to my house early on Monday and said he could do the work on the that day. He said that because of the wind his crew could not continue on current job involving big trees. I had him bid on one tree that was leaning towards my bedroom and storage shed and wanted it out as soon as possible. I had another tree that would eventually have to come out. He quoted me a special price on both trees as well as some shrub removal. Because of the good price I decided to go ahead and am very pleased that I did. Rich and his crews were very efficient and cleaned up their cuttings after completing their work. I would use them again and am very pleased with their work. The discounted price for cutting down two 45 foot cedars and removing the limbs were $600 each. They cut the trunks into 16" blocks and left them for firewood. The removal of the shrubs and grinding down the stumps was $900. He gave me a substantial discount from the original estimate for doing the work all at one time.

chopped the wood into manageable pieces for splitting. Cleaned up and drove away. It was wonderful.The two young men were personable. Very reasonable price.

Very good, hard work on a difficult project from the tree crew. Scheduled to be done in 2 days, with the stump grinding but took most of a month to complete due to scheduling problems with the equipment. Multiple calls to the office accomplished next to nothing as far as what and when the job would be completed.

We had three large poplar trees that were getting too big and becoming a hazard, one leaning into a neighbor's property. Rich gave us bid, which happened to be the lowest bid of three to "down only" the 3 trees into an area where they would not damage other trees or some equipment. Two trees were felled fairly easily, using a winch to pull them in the right direction. One had to be climbed to get a rope in the right position. The third tree (the leaning one) was more difficult, but the two man crew did a great job, felling all three trees without damage to any other trees, including some small cedars that were directly under the 3 to be removed. Got the job done quickly, on time, and were professional.

They decided to have the tree fall onto the sidewalk and street. I was concerned that the sidewalk would crack but there was no damage to it and the tree fell right where they said it would. I had to wait about 10 days for them to bring in a grinder to grind the stump and I was concerned that they might hit the new water line that had just been installed and wasn't very deep. They were very careful and ground one of the major routes that grew away from the water line. They then raked the bark chips from the grinding over the area and removed all the debris from the street.

The made our laurel hedge look much more even and tidy and our magnolia tree has never looked better. The big part of the job was removing a 70-foot black locust tree. In our neighborhood, the houses are very close together and the street is quite narrow. They were so careful not to damage anything and they regularly stopped to clean up so debris didn't blow into the neighbors' yards. Before the job started, they also arranged to get the parking permits from the City. They also found our desired new tree and planted it, adding new soil. They were punctual and really pleasant to work with. Rich and the office were very responsive. They were highly professional: all equipment and clothing were clearly marked Rich's Tree Service. Next time we need pruning, we will definitely call Rich's.

When we got the estimate, we agreed to have Rich's cut down the tree on a drop-in basis or by the end of the month. Rich's actually came three days after receiving the estimate. The crew was polite, efficient, and professional. The job was done quickly, and the site was left very clean. We definitely would hire them again.

Rich is easy to talk to and is very informative. This is the third time I have used Rich's Tree Service and every time the crew he sends out have been outstanding. They go out of their way to make you happy. I would highly recommend them.

They did a pretty good job. Still waiting for them to come back to grind the stump, since they didn't have a grinder to bring on that date. They did a really good job cleaning up.

The estimator was professional and knowledgeable. The crew arrived puntual. When I returned home it looked like the work was not completed because wood and sawdust were all over my front and backyards, a gate was off it's hinges and one of the trees had not been worked on. When I called the office the next day to find out when the crew was coming back I was told that they had finished the job, which I indicated that they had not. The office staff was always pleasant and helpful. They indicated that it would be several days before they could get out there and again I politely said "no, you will have a crew out here today to finish the work." The foreman came out and when I got home the work was finished, the gate was back on and the big blocks of wood on my front yard were removed. However, there was sawdust everywhere and the wood was not even stacked or placed in one area but wherever the pieces laid. I also had damage to my fence and two concrete blocks which I had to call the office on and we were able to negotiate a reduction for the damage. The estimator who handled the follow-up calls was responsive. Given this experience I would not use Rich's again.

They’re very friendly and I think they did a good job. I don’t know how much they charge for each branch.

It was an apple tree. I have a good feeling about them but im going to get a couple more bids.

Rich gave me an estimate within two days of my request and after I made my decision I was promptly scheduled for about two to three weeks later which was good for me. I received a call the morning scheduled advising me the crew would be out mid-afternoon. The entire crew was very polite and obliging. The shredder came out about an hour or two after the work started. By this time my yard was full of cut foliage, trees. All of this was cleaned up nicely and pretty fast.

Called after seeing positive reviews on Angies List. My tenants were leaving town for two weeks so I wanted to get some trees taken down and trimmed while they were down. They were about a month out in scheduling. they called the day and time that was booked a month previous and said that they couldnt come and wanted me to wait another 2 weeks. Im annoyed thinking about the zillion other tree services I could have called and had this done by now. I wont be using them.

Rich's offers the option of the tree being removed on a drop in basis as opposed to an appointment. They said this would allow us to get the work done sooner as they could fit it in when there was an opening on their schedule. This was true as they arrived within a few days to take care of it. Crew of three showed up. Very professional. Removal of a 30 ft tree, cutting wood into 16" lengths, chipping branches, grinding stump and clean up took less than 2 hours. They cleaned up so well my yard looked better when they left than it had when they arrived. The crew were polite, personable and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use Rich's Tree service again.

The house which I only purchased in the beginning of the year was a flip house. The last owner only cleaned roughly and did not live in the house. My daughter and I were looking at the trees and shrubs in the back yard and made a decision that most of them must go as we did not like them or they were in very bad shape or in the wrong place if we even wanted to keep them. Add to the mess, Ivy was growing in patches across the back fence. Call Rich's Tree Service. The estimator came and told me that the Northwest corner of the yard was the worst. He gave a great deal on cleaning out the whole area across the entire West fence line. I accepted the deal and a date was scheduled. The crew were scheduled to arrive by noon, but they arrived early and started straight to work. They came and examined the items to be removed. They started by cutting down the trees, yews and shrubs and grinding them up. They asked if I wanted the wood for firewood, but since I have about a year plus in firewood, they took all the wood that was cut up. They requested only that I not get into the back yard when the grinder was working as it sends material in all directions. They were careful of the bush and tree which were to remain after the service. They did the work quickly and cleaned up constantly. The biggest problem with cleaning up was the tree in the yard north of me which was dropping leaves and branches. I am thinking about rehiring them for more work in my yard.

Our 125 foot Doug Fir had some large dead branches that were a safety hazzard. We wanted the dead branches removed along with a few other low hanging limbs and a general clean up of the tree. The crew showed up early and got right to work. My husband showed them what needed to be done and they did a great job. They chipped up the limbs and cleaned the driveway afterward. The company called a few days later to make sure we were happy with the work. I've become unaccustomed to such good customer service, which made Rich's Tree Service follow up call a very pleasant surprise.

I recieved a phone call on the scheduled morning letting me know when to expect the crew. Dale and Corey showed up and got right to work. I don't think anyone could have worked any harder than those two guys considering the space constraints for the job. Both guys were very friendly and reassuring that they could do the job to my expectations and they did not dissappoint. I am very happy with Dale and Corey and Richs Tree Service. How refreshing to actually hire someone who meets your expectations.

This is the second time we have used Rich's and we have been extremely satisfied with their work. They are punctual, knowledgeable, professional, friendly and polite. And they do a good job of clean-up after.
