Description of Work: Cut many low hanging branches from fir trees and maples. At my request cut a shrub in front of my window to size and while doing so found a leak from the sprinkler system he reported to me. Would definitely rehire. |Very professional hauled away all cuttings. The trees are 13 years old and had never had any branches cut back.

Description of Work: Doug and an assistant (owners son), sorry can't remember name, came out to remove a "curly willow" tree on my property, came someday as my inquiry, and bid for tree removal. I was there the entire time and watched them work, they were very courteous and quick with going to work. The job site was left clean, thus I was very pleased with the entire experience. I will use Rich's Tree Service again in the future. Rich himself came out to give me a price on the work / tree removal.

Description of Work: We needed to have a very large and very dead tree removed that had become covered with tough vines (grape, honeysuckle, clematis) and was in proximity to some utility lines. Rich's showed up to do the quote when they said they would, they performed the service sooner than promised, did exactly what they said they would do (which was exactly what we wanted) and did it for the agreed-upon price. We could not have been more pleased.

Description of Work: Trimmed 5 trees in 4 hours, including 2 very large Fir trees from the top. They were very careful about the final outcome and look of these trees, not just hacking off branches to get them out of the way. They asked our opinion frequently and gave good advice and suggestions. We really appreciated their hard work and attention to business on a very hot day. Left the area nice and clean. Highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Removed large dead shrub and stump. Pruned 4 large birch and aspen trees. Removed small diseased birch and dead limb on aspen. Lightly pruned 4 japanese maples. Chipped and removed all trimmings/branches. |I have used Rich's for several years and they are always very prompt - usually within a day to come out and provide a bid. (For this job Glenn prepared the bid and brought to my attention the need for having some spraying done as several trees had birch borers and some other diseases. Unfortunately Rich's doesn't provide that service so I have contacted another tree company for that.) It is also fairly easy to schedule the work and this time they were able to come out within a couple of days of approving the bid. |It took a crew of 3 men about 2 hours to do most of the work and 1 guy returned a few days later to remove the stump from the large shrub in less than 15 minutes. They did a nice job of cleaning up all the debris. They were also good with communicating arrival time on scheduled work day. |

Description of Work: Trespassing on my property to cut branches from a tree I told him not to touch. He waited until he thought I was at work away from home and cut the tree anyhow because my neighbor paid him to do it. Anything for a buck I guess. Caught him on camera doing it. Don't trust him.

Description of Work: We needed to have shrubs trimmed back from the house to ready it for painting. Also we wanted a large privet hedge trimmed back. Two fellows arrived on time and worked together quickly and efficiently. Clean up was fairly good. We were familiar with Davey Tree and will continue to use their services as needed.

Description of Work: Rich only came out to my home for an estimate. When I called for the estimate I was given a 2 day window that he would show up for an estimate. Luckily I was home with a new baby and not going anywhere. When he did come there was not even a phone call before hand to let me know he was coming. He was very polite when he got here though. When looking at my tree for removal he first thoroughly inspected it to see if he could use any of the wood for making his furniture, not saying anything about how that would work for us, i.e. reduce the cost of our bill since he would be making money off it again down the line. When he left he asked me what I had thought told him I wasn't sure as I was waiting for other estimates and if let him know in a few days once the others had come in. Turns out his was the highest of all 3 I had gotten by about $1000.00. But in the 4 days from when he left my home I received 2 follow up calls from him asking if I had made a decision. In both calls I let him know I was still waiting on other bids and would let him know. The whole thing just left a bad feeling for me like I was getting pushed and he was doing me a favor. He was nice enough just left me with a pushed feeling.
