Initially I had difficulty scheduling an estimate. However, once I did get an estimate and said that I wanted to be a filler (as opposed to scheduling a specific date) they worked us in within just a couple days (note to others: If you ask to be a filler, they don't call you in advance. They just show up, so this might not be a good option unless you work from home). The tree removal was fast and expert, and they left us some nice pieces of firewood as requested. I was impressed also with the efficiency of the stump grinding, but not with clean-up. This wasn't the fault of the workers- the estimator neglected to select the "clean debris" option when he made the estimate. So, a bit messier than I would have liked. But they got the job done quickly and even called to get my feedback.

Excellent. They were on time, professional and speedy workers. They cleaned up, and were a pleasure to deal with. They were also the lowest quote we had.

We are on a subscription program. They come out with a large sprayer truck six times annually to spray the flowering Cherry trees that line our driveway, and they also spray our fruit trees and other ornamental trees in our yard. Very friendly and attentive service. They always leave a note on the invoice that describes work done and notes on the health of our trees.

Once they got to us, they were great! They were very professional, quick and also seemed to enjoy their work. They didnt drop a single branch, onto the adjacent properties, which is amazing considering the placement of the linden tree. We would recommend them to anyone needing this kind of work done.

Job required. Two days and was handled in a very professional manner. Equipment brought to the job was of the the most advanced type which enabled the worker to rise to a 75 feet height WITHOUT having to climb the tree. Before leaving all yard debris was fed to a shredder and drive and deck were cleared with a blower.

The work crew came on the day of the appointment before I left for work, introduced themselves and got down to business. I was impressed by the cleanup in addition to the actual tree and bush removal, and also with the office staff and their willingness to answer any questions I had. I felt the price was very reasonable.

Absolutely top of the line. We moved into a new house with a very large, overgrown yard. They removed about five trees and pruned the remaining trees. That was about 9 months ago, and the trees now look fantastic. They also pruned back lots of overgrown landscaping, and made some suggestions to remove some of the shrubs, which Im very glad they did. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Richs isnt the cheapest, but the best rarely is.

After we removed all the sawdust, dirt and stump grindings we found some stump sections remaining. I took some pictures and emailed them into the office. The office contacted me the next day to let me know they would be out in 2 days on Friday. Had some equipment problems so rescheduled for Monday or Tuesday. They finished the grinding and did a very good job of it. I think I didn't grade them fairly in my prior report. They did what was agreed upon, not exactly the way I was expecting it but made good on any mistakes or issues. Rich is a fair business man and his office staff very professional and courteous. Their price was within $1000 of other quotes. They had a large crew to do the work and all the needed equipment. I would use them again and this time I would fully understand how all the work will be done and what are our expectations of the final outcome so no surprises or disappointments.

Work was started on time and completed in 1.5 days. Trees were cut to length for the most part. Some had to be recut by the logging truck to maximize timber value. Logging truck did have some problems accessing the logs in the front yard and loading them. They were not situated or stacked in the best location for the logging truck to load them. Not all of the tree parts that were left behind were cut to 16" lengths for firewood. All of the branches were trimmed from logs were removed and cleaned up as agreed upon. Overall the job was preformed on time and as agreed. For the items that were not done properly, the logging truck completed them and the bill was adjusted to reflect these discrepancies. Proper log moving equipment could have been used to move and stack the logs better than what was done. His bid was within $1000 of other bids. Has a pleasant working staff, cooperative and returns phone calls timely. Professional company.

The two gentlemen that showed up exactly on time that morning were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable regarding their work. Although it was a tight space considering the size of the tree, they completed the task efficiently without doing any damage to other trees/shrubs in the area. They were licensed and insured which some of the estimates that I received from other companies were not. I will definitely be calling these guys again for future jobs.

There was a miscommunication about what was to be done. Consequently, my expectation about what was to be done was not satisfied. I also thought what was done was overpriced; I was not happy about the service. The estimate provided was done when I was absent and I think the miscommunication could have been prevented if I had been present when the estimate was done.

What we thought was going to be traumatic, turned out to be entertaining. The crew was a lot of fun. They were such a hustling and hardworking team, we served up energy bars.

Great! Of the four companies we called, Richs was the only one to respond in a timely manner.

COMPANY WAS PUNCTUAL, AND EFFICIENT. THEY WERE CAREFUL TO PREVENT ANY DAMAGE TO THE FENCE NEXT TO THE TREE. GOOD JOB CLEANING UP DEBRIS.

VERY GOOD WE HAVE USED THEM BEFORE FOR SPRAYING OUR TREES AND THE IN THE PAST HAVE TRIMMED OUR TREES AS WELL. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT AND CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES. WE WILL USE THERE SERVICES AGAIN.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN. THEY CLEANED UP VERY WELL. THEY WERE VERY METICULOUS ABOUT THE YARD WHEN THEY WERE REMOVING THE TREE.
