They did an oitsranding job. It turned out better than I expected

It went very well.

We wanted the ceramic tile baseboards to go all the way around the
room including an open shelf closet. They told us after they were
finished that we didn't have enough tile to finish. When I located
additional tile to finish the project, they didn't offer to come back
and finish the job or reduce the price. If we wanted to pay an
additional trip fee they would come out and finish.
Also wanted a metal transition or something to transition between ceramic floors and hardwood floors. This was not included.

work was fine. We clearly weren't a big priority for them. Sadly we
were giving them a test run as we are getting ready to remodel our main
bathroom.
will not be using them again.

These people do excellent work---Luis did the tile work and Shannon was the estimator and chief helper. The result is beautiful--Luis' work in cutting the tile to fit just perfectly around the cabinets is a work of art.
One thing about tile work; the tile lots can be from different runs. Shannon actually works in how much tile to buy very carefully, but there is no control over the lots from which the supplier will send the tile. Though from the same material and with the same number, we had two lots, one with the light tan/brown variations we wanted, and another a good deal whiter. Luckily my wife is quite adept at coloration, and was able to make the whiter tile look just like the light tan/brown ones.
The result is beautiful, and the workmanship is a credit to Installer3M. They do good work.
The reason for a and quot;Band quot; on responsiveness is that Shannon took some time to cash my payment checks (one a deposit, the second complete payment), I don't know why. No reflection on their work, just a note. Aside from stretching out my bank statement balancing, it caused no problem.
We'd rehire these people in a heartbeat.

Luis Morales, his brother Eduardo and wife, Shannon (the 3 "M"s) arrived exactly when they said they would and began putting up the backer board for the tile surround. The other walls in the bathroom had been torn down and had just been drywalled a few days prior to the tile installation. Luis and Eduardo worked steadfastly through the entire day, barely taking a break for lunch. At the end of day one, they had the majority of the tile installed. They recommended that the ceiling over the tub be tiled as well as the walls and I thought it was a brilliant idea. So Shannon went out to pick up the extra tile needed for the ceiling. They also installed a recessed shelving unit which was tiled to match the surround. They carefully cleaned up after themselves and came back early the next day. On day two, they had completed all the tiling. On day three, Luis returned alone to do all the grouting of the tile. He did a beautiful job and said he would be back in a week or so (after the rest of the bathroom work was near completion) to polish out the tile, add sealing caulk around the tub seam, and make sure there were no gaps anywhere. Installers 3M did a fantastic job. I'm very happy with the results. They worked fast and with great skill and I'm glad I listened to their suggestions because it made all the difference in the final results. This was a true custom tile application - they worked with the goal of enhancing the space; not just tiling the space. These brothers Luis and Eduardo are extremely skilled craftsmen! And Shannon is a delightful person to talk to and she has great ideas. This a a terrific team of tiling experts!

From start to finish we had an excellent experience. Shannon has many years of experience in the tile business as does her husband. We discussed the job on-sight prior to hiring Shannon. She spent a considerable amount of time explaining what to expect with the finished product. We explained that we are very exacting and expect the same from our vendors. Shannon's husband and brother installed the tile perfectly. They arrived on time, carefully protected the kitchen cabinets and counter surfaces, were neat and tidy throughout the installation, and cleaned up as if it were their own home. Simply put, we couldn't be happier. And we can't wait to show off the work to our neighbors and friends.

Excellent! We were very pleased with the service and work that was performed. Shannon and Luis came out to measure and give ideas on what would look the best. They installed the slate and returned several days later to grout it. They were very neat and polite. We would recommend them to anyone who needs tile, slate or granite installed.
