Windsor Construction

We started June 6.Contractor estimated 6-7 weeks. We finished Aug. 8th , but were able to move into the Master Bd Rm the week before.
We have used this contractor before for installation of bamboo flooring. It was a very good experience and so we got a quotation from him for this work. We got 3 prices...e was in the middle, but we knew how he worked and we would get the job we wanted , done.
Craig does much of the work himself, no assistants. He subs the plumbing, electrical, tile work and drywall work to the pros, and all of this was done very well.
Craig and his team gave us suggestions and in general we went with them.
In the end we got a great job and we were both very pleased with the attention to detail
Craig cleans up at the end of every day, so there's no dust all over the place. He's on time and plans out his work very well.
We have no plans at the moment to do any more work, but would certainly call him again.

It was within the last two weeks for a quote. It was a multi level job. We are discussing how much to do and when. They are fabulous. They are one of the best contractors I have dealt with. I would recommend them to anyone.

In mid-demolition, Craig discovered that the original builder had cut corners on the joist system, and our terrace could not safely been installed without further work being done. He brought in an engineer, and did the extra work at a reasonable price, so the project was not completely derailed.
I had done some research on concrete stains, and it was a tricky process. Craig was completely open to experimenting--really took pains to make sure that the finished project was exactly what I wanted.
He finished everything on time, and--other than the extra structural work that was completely beyond anyone's control--within budget.
I have worked with a lot of contractors over the years. Craig is one of the very best. He does what is asked, his work is up to the highest standards, on schedule and within budget. He communicated freely, and I always knew the schedule and what to expect.
As our project wound up, I hired Craig to do some minor work at my mother's house, putting handrails in her 90 year old house, painting her stairs and repairing a door. He did a great job, and my mom is well satisfied.
Great work, on a variety of projects. I recommend Craig Hill and Windsor without reservation, and will work with him in the future.

They do what they say they would do and they show up on time. They do a good job and they are easy to work with. There are a variety of things all of which he seems to do very well. He has some people that he works with, but most of the time he does most of the work himself. Everything that he has done for us is good and it looks great. His prices are good.

They had done work for us previously. It went very well. The guy really knows what he is doing and does an excellent job. He is not the cheapest.

Overall, this was a pleasure, in spite of the inconvenience due to the project. Craig was great. He's careful, punctual, and a craftsman. I will call him for further work I'll be doing, since he does much more than just floors.

Craig was very pleasant to work with, and did a quality job. He was always prompt and never wasted time or disappeared for hours. He relied on subcontractors for most of the work, but supervised and/or checked on their work afterwards. He was very conscientious. He was fun to have around, as he was always whistling and laughing (apparently he found a lot of the construction in our house amusing). He was good with the dog, which is important to me. There were some errors due to misunderstanding, and also due to not getting everything in writing - don't make this mistake! some finish work was left for us to do - which would probably have cost us more if not left, but which I did not expect. Again, probably would have been aware of it if I had a detailed account of what he was going to do. He was good about cleaning up after himself and hauling waste away, though sometimes we had to ask him to do so or he would have left things, like old windows.
