Refinished living room floors. I knew the job would be done well just from the detail put into the sizing up the job. But what was well above and beyond the call was accommodating this job, unplanned and without complaint, over the 4th of July weekend at the request of my tenants in the house. I hired Custom Touch to repair a water damaged oak floor in our kitchen. After getting proposals from 3 companies, we chose The Custom Touch. It was one of the best decisions that I've made in a long time. Richard (owner) and his crew were totally professional and quickly answered all my questions and concerns and made the decision to hire them easy. The repair included replacing the damaged oak hardwood (the match was perfect) in the kitchen and sanding, staining and sealing the remainder of the hardwood in both the kitchen and entire first floor (~850 sq ft) in our desired color. We gave them the key to our house and went to the coast for 5 days while they completed the job. Wow! That is the only word I can use to express how we felt when we returned home! The color of the entire floor was gorgeous and the workmanship was beyond what I even believed possible! Don't even waste your time getting other proposals...just call and hire the Custom Touch. You will be as thrilled as we were!

Richard went out of his way to assure that I was satisfied. The removal of the old floor was much more difficult that anticipated - resulting in several extra hours of tedious effort - yet he stayed firm on his quote which was very reasonable.

they did a small floor repair in a day and only charged me $150. I had contacted another company that wanted $475 for the same job.
