TC Excavating proposed replacing ENTIRE SEWER LINE UP TO CURB.  We later renegotiated the Wye at the house, but was still to extend OUT TO CURB.  City inspection confirmed that the line was not replaced out to the curb, but rather to the sidewalk--5-6 ft short of the original bid.

I have been unable to contact the company--if the omission is remedied this review will be updated moderately positively for their willingness to rectify their omission.

Tim's bid was the best and his communication was excellent. I needed
some extra grading and an extra clean out for future expansion. Tim was
very easy to work with, as was his crew, and I'm extremely satisfied
with the completed work and the cost of the entire job. This was my
house and I'm also a licensed general contractor. Tim will be the first
person I will call for similar work. I couldn't be happier.

They were real good. I had got bids from other companies. Their bids were about $11000. However TC Excavating gave me a bid for $3750. It took them longer to do the job because of the weather and the ground conditions. They did a good job. I would recommend them. I had oil taken at the same time. They had to take the oil tank out. They had to dig down 18 feet and it was quite a job. It was a positive experience working with them. They saved me a lot of money. They did what they said they would do; everything worked. It was a rocky soil and it was a difficult job. He came out numerous times. I was able to reach by phone all the time. He was here when he said he would be most of the times. He was professional.

Nobody wants to hear that they need to replace the main sewer line, a few days before Christmas, but that's what happened to me. TC Excavating did outstanding work and for having to spend this kind of money, I got more than a good deal. I got craftsmanship and total customer satisfaction. My last encounter with this crew was when the earth settled above the new line and I called up Bill. It was taken care of by the end of the next day. My entire experience has been like this and I have spent thousands of dollars in remodeling on my house. I'm also appreciated that he suggested running the water line at the same time. If Bill represents TC, then this is a top-notch outfit. My 1924 concrete sewer line had crumbled and it needed to be replaced immediately. I had gotten the bad news from Roto Rooter as they showed me the video. TC Excavating was prompt and courteous in my initial screening phone call. I had the bid by the end of the day. All of this is part of why I decided to go with TC over the other four businesses that I had contacted. When I work on my house again, you can be sure that THIS is the company I'm calling. However, with the cost of the sewer line, that will be awhile.

It took a lot longer than we expected, but the work was done really well and the price was reasonable.

We are adding approximately 2300 sq. ft. to our home. There is about 1600 sq. ft. on the main level. I contacted T C Excavating for an estimate. They came over to the site that day. Rather than requiring an estimate I chose to have them do the work by the hour. This was a very complex excavation and utility installation job. For the most part the working conditions were very tight. We installed a dry well, rain drains, an area well for a basement landing. We also installed a sewer connection for that section of the building. The work lasted about a week. I have built and remodeled over 60 homes. Still I don't always know what I want until faced with decisions. They were very patient and helpful. They always showed up on time and called to let me know when they would be here. We had to bring in dump trucks for hauling. The job went very smooth and I was happy.
