Description of Work: Note: We have been using Herford's for many, many, years now. The work is always well done, the price is reasonable, though not inexpensive, and the crew always cleans up very well before the job is done. This time Herford's trimmed several trees to improve our view, fell two diseased trees and cleaned up the debris, and trimmed about 500 fee of arborvitae hedge on both sides and the top, removing and disposing of the debris.

Description of Work: Removed one very large pine tree and one large maple, ground the stumps in addition to several other stumps in the front and back yards,also removed a smaller plum tree that was growing through a cyclone fence into the neighbors yard.

Description of Work: Removed established pine tree which was showing signs of disease. Also ground the stump and pruned large juniper tree.

Description of Work: We had a fairly good sized tree that was uprooted by that last ice storm. It fell against a smaller tree just up-wind of our home. The smaller tree held, but we were afraid that the combination might come down in the next storm and damage our home. Herford's removed the uprooted tree without damage to the landscaping below and relieved the pressure on the smaller tree.

Description of Work: Pruned and shaped flowering plum trees. Removed small trunk off-shoots from large maple tree. Climbed a huge cotton wood tree to remove some large hazardous limbs.

Description of Work: I used Herford's Quality Tree Care about 2 years ago. They trimmed some apple trees for me and took some out. They also did some clearing.

Description of Work: Herford's cut down 4 large fir trees (perhaps 60' each, all close to the house), a large pine and a small cherry in 1 day. The chipped all of the branches and left the place spotless. They left us the chips, which we use in our garden (we have an acre). They cut the wood into 16" log - although did not split them, which was as we had agreed upon (I plan to rent a log splitter). They also stump ground all of the stumps.

Description of Work: Nathan came by, gave an estimate to remove a 140+ foot cedar tree that grew between our house an detached garage. About a week later he had a cancelation and called to see if he could do it that afternoon. I am a stay at home mom with a pretty flexable schedule so that was perfect for me. He came out and cut all the branches off, dropping them precisely and not on my landscaping down below. His worker carried them up and the hill to the driveway and chipped them up.Once he got to the top he cut the top 25 feet of the tree and landed it again in the perfect location, not on the house, not on the garage, not on the hot tub, not on the plants but in a great empty space. Then he climbeb back down cutting the tree into 18 inch sections to be left as firewood by us. We had him just leave them where they lay as a price break, since we can wheelbarrow log rounds ourselves. He cut the stump down really low with a crazy 44" saw. All in a few hours. They hauled away the chips to my friends yard a few miles down the road for her to use in her lanscaping. Great experience. I have used them for 2 previous tree projects in my quest to get sunshine onto our house and yard. They have all been wonderful experiences and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. He is also really great with humoring my 6 year old chatterbox of a son, and that always earns points in my book.

Description of Work: Nathan came and gave us a free estimate and about a year later (I am a procrastinator) I finally called him back to do the job. He removed three extremely tall cedar trees that were looming over my home and dropped them exactly where he said he was going to avoiding a propane tank and my garden. He cut the trunk into firewood size pieces and chipped up all the limbs. He would have taken away the wood chips but I asked him to dump them in my driveway so I could use it as landscaping mulch.

Description of Work: Nathan removed three cherry trees, a plum tree and a dogwood. He cut into firewood lengths and ground the stumps. He also pruned several trees. He removed all existing brush.
