I found Randy on ServiceMagic and he was quick to respond to my email search. He came over for a concrete removal project and indicated he could do all GC work including my door/window job. he bid on the concrete work as well as the door project. I indicated I wanted him to work on the door project as I had another contractor for the concrete work (who completely flaked and never responded). Randy kept saying "I work for you, you don't work for me, so name yoru time etc." I indicated the door that I wanted and emaile dhim the manufacturer. We scheduled for the day after Memorial Day. he called less than 24 hrs prior to say they didn't make the door and he didn't want to start the project without a door. I told him, that in fact the door is still made, they had sent me a brochure. I provided the phone number and model number of the door. I called the next day to confirm and they indicated an 8 day lead on the door. We rescheduled for June 22nd. he called on the 11th to confirm that I wanted a left hand door and our start date. I asked if he had ordered the door yet?? He said it had come in and just wanted to confirm. On June 18th, he sent me a TEXT and said he coudl not do the job. No phone call, no email. Complete waste of my time. And this coming from someone who needed the work. Thus I am at least 2 months behind on my project. I can't do the concrete, deck or landscaping until the door is in. FFFFFFFF

Randy, the owner, was quiet easy to work with. We changed a few things in the middle of it which he was just fine with. I very much appreciated that, as we didn't have everything pinned down at the start and wanted to make some minor modifications. They showed up on time to do the work. The few times that he'd estimate that they might come and the schedule changed (due to waiting on an inspector) he would call me and let me know, which was very good. Never once was there a time that I expected them and they didn't show up. They kept the project moving. We are very happy with the work that he did. We would use them again for future service.
