Addition to Existing Structure Building Service

We enrolled in Westward's Build Savvy program, and once things got going we were disappointed to see that they had no organizational structure for managing the many decision to be made, no project kickoff or overview to lay out the process, and very little communication about important decisions like contractor selection. Once construction began things went from bad to worse. They hired an inexperienced framer to do the vast majority of the work, they were not responsive to our concerns as we started to witness problems with the build, and they provided no regular on site presence or supervision. They skipped required inpsections, deviated from the approved plans, caused water damage to our house, and we are now pursuing a CCB complaint and likely taking them to court. They have done business under multiple other names where similar issues arose and the old business licenses reflect complaints, lack of insurance, and other issues they are now trying to outrun under a new name.

My bathroom remodel job included a demo, tub removal, tiling of flooring and shower, painting and fixing some plumbing issues. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to some coordination and quality problems that caused delays. However, they quickly acknowledged the problem and made every effort to correct the mistakes. The project did take longer as a result but they were extremely good at keeping me informed, and coordinating the work schedule with me. The only overages on the estimate were due to choices I made that I knew would result in more cost. I am very happy with the final result. I will hire them again

Jeremy and Tyson are great but make sure to know who they hire to do the work. We had to fire the crew and they had to finish it themselves. I will hire them again but will be much more careful and watch everything more closely
