Sebastian's Landscaping

It started great but once I told him I was selling the house he stopped coming. I had to call him to get him to come. I asked him to fix the sprinklers and area of the drip system and it took him over a month to do it and the sprinklers did not work properly. He charged me $290 for fixing the sprinklers and and cutting the grass (cutting the grass was $50 a week). So I paid $240 for the sprinklers. They still did not work. I asked him to come and fix them and he did not. Then I asked him to fix the sprinklers or give me my money back. He still has not called me back. Guess I am out the money. What's worse, the people that looked at my house said they liked the house but it needed TLC. How embarrassing!!! My yard looks terrible. I waited too long and gave him too many opportunities. He is not shy about charging, I just wish he had done the work and let me yard look so bad.

Way overpriced for the work completed. Also did not complete the job as discussed. Didnt return phone calls. Spoke that he could do additional work after the 1st portion was done, but once that happened, he wanted to send us somewhere else to get work done.

Not as well as expected. Conveyed what I wanted ahead of time, emphasizing that I wanted a complete and very tidy job. He and one other person spent 4 hours weeding and blowing and did just an adequate job. Missed a lot of weeds, branches, twigs, leaves etc. Charged me $400. That's $50 an hour. Overpriced and not thorough. I would have been happy if the job had been as I requested.

I have no don'ts.  They always do what I ask and do it well at no extra cost.  When they took out pampas grass it took two men working over 1 1/2 hours.  I paid them extra.  They are always on time and have brought in mulch and spread it.  They dig up plants and transplant them when I request it.  They have taken out several bushes and replaced them.  All around, we are very pleased.

I found Sebastian on Angie's List and called him about 8:00 am. By 8:30 he was at our house working. He mowed and edged our front and back yards and trimmed multiple shrubs into shape in no time! He did a beautiful job and the yard looks great. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone and he will be the one I will call the next time I need help.

I have had him for years. He and his crew have helped me out so much since my husband died. They drop everything and come over and help me when I need them the most and I am so appreciative of that. He kept  my yard in shape before I moved in my new house. They are just wonderful people. My porch I absolutely love. I have been here almost 6 months.  They came out and started it and finished it within 3 days. It was wonderful. It is a wooden porch attached to my house and I thought $3000 was pretty cheap. It is a beautiful porch. They didn't bother me at all. They cleanup after themselves too. I don't know what I would do without them.

Excellent workers. Very tidy and polite. They did the work quickly, professionally, and scheduled us in literally last minute. Work completed earlier than planned and rates were very reasonable.  Will use Sebastian for future plans and projects!  . 

Sebastian was recommended to me by my handyman, whom I think very highly of.  But my confidence went downhill from there.  For what he did he was overpriced.  I had the impression this job was beneath him.  After he tore apart the lawn surrounding the box, I was having my doubts.  When I asked him about it, he assured me I could just throw some seed on it & it'd grow back.  Huh?  (Do you know how long it takes to grow grass?  ALL SUMMER!)  The point is, he didn't take care of the sod in the first place.  He piled up a huge mound of wet clay on the other part of the lawn--didn't clean up after himself--just left his bailing containers on the lawn so I could throw them away--and I got to clean up the mountain of clay too.  He never did find the leak.  But he asked if he could use my landscaping boulders to anchor the box when he was ready to put it back together.  I said no.  So he ended up sawing a green irrigation box cover in half to wedge it around the box in the lawn.  Did I mention he had to come back three times in a 10-day period to finish this job?  But only after I kept calling him.  Oh, and he brought his son along with him one day too.  This guy does this for a living?  Really?  Sebastian was ill-prepared, uncommunicative, made a mess of my yard--that I had to clean up--didn't fix the problem & I had to pay him too.  Buyer beware!  You'd have better luck closing your eyes & picking a name--any name--out of the phonebook.

I like them very much and i recommend them too. I had them work at my parents too. They come weekly to my house. They have worked for us for 8 years. They are very reliable and easy to work with. If i ask them to do any thing, they do it without hesitation. They are very amicable.

They're very good, and they listen to what you tell them.  Also, they seem to be very conscientious in their work.  We have no problems with them so far. 

They do excellent work.  Communication a little difficult but they are well worth hiring.

It's wonderful. They are quick, prompt, expenses are affordable, and they set up my water system. They do a very good job. They are very professional. I can call them again when I need them again.

Beware. Sebastian presents a confident image and says he can do a job with expertise. However, he did a poor job of installing my artificial turf (he had to do it over). He drove the long screws through my irrigation electrical lines. When I discovered I had no water he assured me they did not cut any lines. I had another irrigation guy out who dug up the wires found the problem.
If you use Sebastian he is good at setting pavers, not flagstone, so hire him for what he knows only.

Went pretty good. There were some roots but they were very small and I could easily get them up. These bushes had been growing for 8 years so they were big.

Sebastian is a really nice gentleman. He arrived on time and spoke very professionally and with great English. He came back as promised and continues to do a great job. Our last gardener put in a water timer that we can't figure out how to use as he left no book and never showed us how to use it, so Sebastian said that he will fix this problem, we are really looking forward to this being fixed, Sebastian is also going to address our ever creeping crab grass problem, hopefully soon. He has a detailed oriented personality. We like him and trust him. So you should use Sebastian, he's affordable, kind, and a pro!

They are very good and punctual. They are Mexicans and they don’t speak English very well, but they work very hard. I have compared it with others and their price is very good, so that is the high point. Their quality also is very good.
