The bid was worked up by Sean, who we assumed was their estimator, but he actually led the project. He had scheduled two days for the job, but was able to finish in only one day because another team showed up to help. They were nothing short of amazing in dealing with our 50 yr. old amateur plumbing. I was impressed that I didn't hear a single grumpy remark about the problems we knew they were running into. It would go like this ... They'd run into a goofy deal that needed to be puzzled out. There would be some quiet discussion and a plan made and then off they'd go. My husband said they didn't take any short cuts and were doing things 'right.' From 9 AM 'till 6PM these guys worked their buns off. Sean said as soon as the second team showed up he knew they could finish in one day. And they did. The clean up was spectacular! They didn't ask any questions they just removed all the old fixtures, pipes, water heater ... and even the old dishwasher. When they left all I had to do was start cooking. They had wiped everything down and vacuumed all the dust etc.
I was stunned by one other detail. Every one of these young men were careful to step around a carpet in the middle of the living room. I know it's a small thing, but it spoke volumes about the care they took working in our home all day long.
