Our neighbor introduced us to Russ when he was working over there and we decided to use his services. Because of the length and hard physical work involved, he scheduled us for the first of the week. He was a week later than we all thought because of the Labor Day holiday, but it worked out better due to the heat. First, his crew weeded both yards to get an idea of the permanent plants and ground covers, then they cut down some volunteer trees in a wooded area and trimmed all the bushes and trees. Pruned all the rosebushes and reshaped some of the older bushes. They cleaned up all the flower beds and mulched and bark dusted where appropriate. They applied Caseron and will return in the spring to catch any weeds that may have sprouted. Russ plans to drop by occasionally to check on that weed problem. As noted above, they worked on the new pond for quite a while, longer than they had estimated, but it is beautiful. We were very impressed with the four of them and how hard they worked. They never seemed to take a break. We will continue to use them bi-annually from now on.
