WIBBING PUMP SVC

We live below the sewer main so have pumps to push all household wastewater uphill to the main. There are not many people who know how to work on these things, or who know both the plumbing and electrical. Rob is trained as both a plumber and an electrician, so he is one of a kind in this business. We called him on the recommendation of a friend after another company came out and mis-diagnosed the problem. We were at a loss and could not find anyone qualified to help. Enter Rob. He came and inspected the system, made some recommendations and provided me an accurate estimate of the work. He worked on the install for two days, making sure that everything was done just right. He takes a lot of pride in his work, and is a true professional. We will definitely use him again in the future!

Wibbing (senior - along with his son Rob) had been here maybe 8 or 10 years ago to fix our sewer pump - so well that it didn't need any work for that long. But about 6 months ago, it began to sound wrong. I tried to find Wibbing again, left messages, but could not get an answer from them. I gave up and hired a plumber, who did a not very good job - because plumbers are really not pump people. Pumps are their own thing. Parts wear out - and this is an old one. But it is also very sturdy and well worth fixing. When the pump began to cycle on and off way too fast this time - I tried to find Wibbing again - and this time they got back to me quickly. Rob is in charge now, and they had been moving the business when I called before (they now have several working addresses - but the phone number is always the same) Their messages got lost during the move. It was just bad timing for me to hit those moving days. This time, he came right out, with the right parts and fixed the pump. It's been working well ever since. He was a bit late - but that was because he had been up since 3AM helping someone else with a pump emergency. Sort of nice to know that he does that if necessary. Our history goes way back, and I am very satisfied with their work. Nice guy, and a careful smart worker.
