"I apologize that you went through this, however, Nick does not work for our company. We didn't assign the work to Nick, we recommended him to you and you hired him, not our company. I am sorry that you have gone through this, I would never recommend anyone if I knew they would do this; I am sorry that you couldn't resolve the issue with him or his work."
"For those who know us and our reputation know that this review does not represent who we are and what we do. The review has many inaccuracies. In a nutshell, we were hired by a contractor to perform the work as a sub but not by the homeowner himself. After the job was finished we were asked to go and look at one piece of board that has a raised grain and some scratches on the floor. That’s when we met [Member Name Removed] (the one and only time) where he complained that the floor scratched too easily and I agreed it was scratched more than normal in such a short time. The marks were dog scratches but [Member Name Removed] didn’t want to admit that they were from the dogs and the raised grain board we came to inspect was right next to the dog bed (the picture posted here was not the completed touch-up). I took some pictures with the scratches and consulted a Bona rep. (since we used a Bona finish) to see what the cause is since the homeowner didn’t agree that his dog made the scratch marks. The rep. said they were dog scratches from premature use or traffic (the finish was still in the curing process when they had the dogs on the floor). The project was also not $30k, but $19K, which yes, is still a chunk of change, but inaccurately describing the job (the contractor assured me he didn’t charge the homeowner extra for the project. I will try to attach a pic with the estimate). With this review and others [Member Name Removed] is trying to bully us into fixing a problem we did not make and is unwilling to assume any responsibility in the matter. We will do our best to go above and beyond to help our customers with problems and issues with their flooring but we draw the line when a client undermines and bullies a contract that was followed and agreed on by jumping online for a smear campaign"
