Animal Boarding Kennels
We have trusted Nature's Acres with the care of our dog when we're out of town for the past three years. Prior to utilizing their services we dropped in unannounced and were gladly given a tour of the facility. Extremely clean, no offensive odors, friendly and attentive staff is what we found. We have yet to see or experience anything that would make us reconsider our decision to utilize their services. Our dog Pre, is excited when we drop him off, which is a great sign. He's tired when he gets home so he's receiving the necessary stimulation. We've never had a problem and wouldn't think of leaving Pre anywhere else!

She was well cared for, clean and happy when I picked her up. They have a large open field for the dogs to run in either alone or in groups. I have used this boarder more than once and my dog was happy to return. (think that says a lot if your dog wants to go back!)

It was my first time using a kennel, so I visited several kennels before choosing this one. The place has a warm, friendly welcoming feel, as do the people who work there. My dogs were happy and calm when I picked them up. 5 stars !!!

I had my dog shampooed there but my husband was the one who picked him up but I just assume that it was all great. The dogs love going there, it's a nice place, very clean, the people are very nice so I recommend it. The price is reasonable, they only take cash or cheque, they don't take credit card.

Needed to board dog for vacation. Got a recomendation at work. Went out and looked over the place. Didn,t need to make an appt. Clean kennels, long runs, they provided bedding and bowls. We brought our own food, but I think that they also provide. In the office/check in room lots of pictures of residents, you can tell they like dogs. She was happy when we picked her up. I would go there again

My second time boarding at natures acres my dog's collar was lost, they said it probably came off in the yard and they would look for it and call me the next day. They never called and didn't return my subsequent calls over the next few days. I ended up having to get a new collar, new license tag from the county and a new rabies tag all out of my pocket. They didn't offer or do anything to help the situation. Also his bedding was returned filthy.

Before boarding my 13yo terrier here, I called and asked if they were appropriate for smaller, older dogs. They assured me they were. When I arrived there, there were many larger dogs about, seemingly having a good time, however the individual areas for each dog were more like small enclosed wooden boxes with a plastic flap/door that opened to a run outside. The owner picked out "the best unit" for my dog, however when I got down on my knees to peer inside, I could see that the flap to the outside was hanging partially open. Unfortunately, it was in the twenties that day and several of the days my dog was staying there and he is an older, somewhat arthritic dog who is used to spending his days living around people in our warm house. I did ask the owner to please fix the flap, but had to leave to make it to the airport on time. They claimed to have floor heating, which I hope was true. It was difficult leaving my dog there, and once again confirms the adage that you should always personally check out a kennel before boarding your dog. This is probably a good place to kennel a more active (and healthy) breed of dog who likes being outside. I felt it was a not a good choice for my older dog.

A doggy paradise! Dogs running loose everwhere. The dogs get to run about all day, instead of staying in the kennel. Moles, weasles, goats to bark at! !

It went well! Dropped our little Jack Russell terrior off at 2 pm and picked her up at 5 pm. Thee normally close at 4 but they were more than willing to allow me to come after hours to pick her up. When I arrived she was out running with the big dogs and the staff on the 2+ acres. She loves it there. They take such good care of the pets.

Great!! I will certainly take our dog back there. We have had her in other kennels and she always comes home tramatized. Not here. She loved it from what we can tell and the folks there said she had a great time running and playing. Matter of fact I am taking her back there tomorrow just for the day so that she can run and play.

Our dog was very happy when we returned to pick her up. They told us that she had a good time and played with all the other dogs. Our dog tends to be agressive towards other dogs so we were happy to hear that she was able to be with the other dogs when outside her kennel.

Fantastic experience! Boarding has always been a big concern for me and I have found a place that really takes the worry out of leaving my animal while I travel.

They seem to care for the dogs well. Our dog has stayed there a few times and always seems happy and healthy upon returning. They have room to romp rather than being trapped in a cage all day. They offer an option for bath and do it the day you pick them up. Price seems reasonable, too.

We had to leave town unexpectedly and since we're new to the area, we weren't sure where to take our two dogs. I asked our vet's office and one of the workers there recommended Nature's Acres. It was a bit of a drive (until I realized I was taking the long route) but well worth it. The staff is professional but caring and the place is always clean. They take detailed information about the dogs (food, etc.) and while our two dogs are boarded together, they can't be fed together, and the staff has always made sure the dogs were separated for food time. They also tried putting our dogs out with a group to play, but one of our dogs isn't great with other dogs, so our two go out together instead. It's good to know when we're out of town that they're having a chance to play together and I really like that they are playing outside, which is where they most like to be. As someone else mentioned, baths are great during the muddy season and we definitely take advantage of that service! A note to others: if you need boarding over a popular holiday or weekend, call in advance because they have a lot of return customers booking spots!

We have used Nature's Acres repeatedly after it was recommended to us by a friend. Our dog is a border collie/Aussie shepherd/blue heeler mix, so needless to say she has a lot of energy and sometimes can be iffy with other dogs. She lasted 10 minutes at a daycare in Portland before I was called to come get her, because they assumed she would be a problem due to her breed. I mentioned this for Lily's first time at Nature's Acres and they didn't bat an eye, they just made a note to have extra supervisors in her play group should anything arise. They never seem to have had a problem with her, in fact sometimes she's playing with other dogs in the front yard if they know we are on our way to pick her up. Anytime we've been, the kennel is immaculate and if it is a nice day frequently the staff seem to make the most of it. Bringing out some dogs for a nice post-bath brushing, as well as the older mellower and smaller crated dogs who are carefully located under a tree in the shade near them, but still allows them to be close to the folks caring for them. I honestly cannot say enough good things about them, the employees seem to genuinely care for the animals and that goes a long way in my book. Every friend we know who has a dog, difficult or easy going dog, brings them here and is quite happy with the service. The bath is an extra $20 but worth it if it is the mud season.

We LOVE Logan's. We take our Golden Retriever there. Most boarding places the dogs are kept in small kennels and you have to pay extra for any time outside of that kennel. At Logan's they have fenced land that the dogs can run and play. It is ideal for our large and active dog. We do pay a couple dollars extra for a one on one walk. And they charge extra to bath at the end, but trust me it's worth it. After time in the fields and with other dogs playing they need a bath! It also is the only kennel we have taken our dog to that she gets excited at. Other places we had to drag her in and it made us feel awful leaving her. Here, she literally tore my rear view mirror off running around my car when we got there!

When I turn in the drive to the kennel my dogs get excited and start barking. That tells me they really enjoy themselves. I highly recommend this kennel.

I GAVE A B FOR PRICE BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW IF THEIR PRICE WAS A GOOD OR BAD PRICE. SOMEONE RECOMMENDED THEM, AND THEY WERE CLOSE. IT WASN'T OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE, BUT I BET THERE ARE BETTER PRICES.
