Genuine Garage Doors

This company's service was excellent, and the work Mike performed on my garage door and track system (to cure a closure problem) was stellar as well. I also appreciated Mike demonstrating and educating me on how to lubricate the door and rollers correctly, and the type lubricating product to use. I learned I've not only been doing an incomplete maintenance job, but doing it wrong. I will use this company again.

I was stuck in my garage with a broken spring preventing me from lifting garage door. Genuine responded to call quickly, recognized that I needed to get the job quickly as my car was stuck in the garage, notified me when they were on the way, made the repair quickly and competently at a reasonable price and I was on my way.

He was on time, made quick work of it, professional, informative, Fair priced.

What a great job! They showed up promptly, did the work quickly and our garage door is now virtually silent. It made a huge difference.

He came early and quickly silent all squeaky sound. He also replace a broken metal piece which connects the rail and the opener, but we found later that the fix didn't align well and slightly skew to the left. I hope it won't break too soon...

I called and Steve came out immediately to fix the cable. No charge. Superior service and pricing.

turned out loose bolts on door rail needed tightening and turn off switch adjusted. Only keen eye could see what was wrong wth the system.

The guy who came out and do the job, did a good job.He have a friendly positive attitude. However the communication between Angie's List and company is the problem,after you purchased a deal, you'll be asked for your preferred schedule thinking that it will be passed along to the company but looks like it was not. The company didn't come on the scheduled date. But when I called him, he came right away.

Excellent. Service guy showed up promptly, was professional and courteous, job went fast. Great way to meet a company that does good work. We would consider hiring for a motor for the opener and other services as we might need them in the future.

Punctual, professional, informative, friendly and extremely competitive. Beat out the competition between $400 and $1,000. Had five companies bid my doors and could not believe the range in pricing. Genuine is truly genuine. They also installed my pin pad a few years ago.

The technician Mike showed up on time as scheduled, I am very please with his professionalism and experiences, he has done the job within 30 minutes! They did a good job. It was A quality to work. The price was competitive. We had a couple of other bids. It was competently done. The installer was friendly and informative. We have no complaints. The price was right. He was very prompt and efficient and he was here only a couple of hours. He cleaned up thoroughly.

Mike came out on May 8 to look at the remote. The appt. was for noon. He called me around 10:30 and asked if I could meet earlier, and that day I couldn't, so we kept the original time. He didn't show up until 12:30 and didn't call to say he was running late. This was a bummer because I have to clock out for lunch, so I had to make that time up later in the week. Once Mike got there, it was clear that he knows his stuff, and pointed out where the company that hung the doors cut some corners. ***The company in question, Zoom Garage Door - no longer in business - was found on Angie's List and had perfect reviews. Unfortunately, when we used them it seems they were already on a downward spiral.*** Mike said the remote was toast, a new opener was no problem, and he would adjust the doors as well. He could have done the install that day, but I had to get back to work, so we agreed that I should call Stephen (the owner) to schedule the next appt. I called Stephen on May 9 and left a voicemail, but he didn't call back for several days. I was too busy to give it much thought that week, so I called him again on May 17 and he scheduled Mike for May 19. Mike called me as he was on his way and got right to it when he arrived. He had the new opener installed, door adjusted, and remotes & keypad programmed in just over an hour. I thought that was amazing! He also went over every detail of the new opener and made sure I had no questions. I opted for a belt drive opener, which is nearly silent, and combined with the door adjustments, the door is barely audible in operation now, as opposed to the Halloween-ish creaking and squeaking sounds we used to hear. Despite the minor communication issues, I was impressed with the work done by Genuine. They are straight shooters (no upselling!), professional, and do the job right. I'll definitely call them again when the time comes.

I eventually realized I had paid online, then again by credit card to service man. After informing Angie's of the double payment a quick customer service person opened a ticket which ended after a weekend in me receiving a refund to my card. Very good choice of service company,
