Frank Figg Painting

A+++ This is the best painting pair I have ever hired throughout 30 years and 4 houses. The workmanship is the finest I have ever seen, much less had. They worked steadily, paid great attention to detail, and even fixed little things along the way. I wish that I had found them years ago, and am looking all over our house for something to improve with paint so they can transform it. Truly, a five star duo.

Frank did an awesome job of re-painting and blending about a 3 x 5 ft square in our kitchen that had been re-drywalled and re-textured due to water damage. If he had not been able to match we would have had a "halo" and then had to re-paint about 1500 sq ft of ceiling which would have cost a lot more. Frank seems to be an honest and straight-forward guy, is prompt on responding and is more than fair on his pricing. Would definitely hire him again.

Frank and his team are exceptional. He painted our interiors two years ago and our exterior this summer. Our house is a challenge to paint: it has high vaulted ceilings and odd angles inside and is perched on an uneven slope requiring scaffolding and creative ladder use and rigging outside. It is also on a forested lot and so is exposed to elements more than a typical urban house. I benefitted from Frank's extensive experience and great common sense at every turn. Wish every contractor I hire could be as good to work with. Quality of the workmanship is exceptional. He was able to advise on all aspects of the project and even saved worn siding through scraping/patching in advance of painting (cost of replacing it would have been far more than the total cost of the paint job). Can't recommend Frank highly enough.

I contacted Frank after our friends recommended his services because he painted their home and many other homes in their Bethany neighborhood. He came the next day to take a look at the job and that evening he followed up with an email with a quote - very quick and timely. I did get two other (more detailed) quotes/contracts from other Angie's List contractors and chose to go with my instinct (and my friend's recommendation) to hire Frank and I'm so grateful I did!
After figuring out our schedules and knowing that I wanted my kids and my pregnant self to be away from the paint as much as possible, we broke up the projects into three do-able chunks. Frank and his painting partner, Rod, arrived each morning promptly. By 7:30 am they were ready to get started for the day. In the first phase, they completed the great room, kitchen, dining room, mud room, powder room, stairwell and upstairs hallway in 4.5 days. They returned about a week later to paint two bedrooms, the guest bathroom, master bedroom and master bathroom and that took about 3 days. Then we invited Frank back to paint one more bedroom which took half a day.
Each night after the painting, my husband and I thoroughly checked out the work with a flood light and were pleased to find even coats of painting. If there was an issue or something that needed to be touched up, I talked to Frank the next day. Then Frank and Rod fixed/patched it quickly to our satisfaction. There was also an interior corner where we changed the paint color and Frank's line was amazing and it transitions beautifully to the next room. We are Extremely Happy with their quality of work, dedication, and professionalism. If another painting need comes up, we will call Frank first.

Follow up: Our neighbor contacted Frank to get a quote on the exterior of their home. I saw him driving in the neighborhood and called to ask him a question. Our child had put 'washable' marker on our painted wall and so I wanted to know what he would recommend. To my surprise and delight, he came over within 5 minues (he was in the area) with the product he recommended to try on the spot. When it didn't come out, he asked to get the paint can out and showed me how to finger rub it on so that the marker is now covered up. That was very helpful and is one example of the kind of person you get to work with when you hire Frank.
