It went very smoothly. He told us what needed to be done and gave us a price. Getting a new stovetop and sink took longer than expected, but he was flexible and accommodating. He came when he said he would and completed the job in a day. Because he also does tile, he came back the next day and repaired the grout in the backsplash tile, recaulked, and even fixed my cutting board, charging me his hourly wage for the extra tasks that needed to be done (but hadn't been addressed in the original bid).
He did scarf the edge of the laminate in 3 or 4 places. In another laminate, it might show, but in the pattern I selected it is not obvious and will not affect the durability of the countertop. The kitchen looks great. Bret was very low key but direct, friendly, and approachable. I will hire him again.

We had purchased tile but ran out of time to install ourselves. He came out & gave us an estimate. We set up time in the next week. He provided grout and sealer etc. We only provided tile. He showed up on time and did a beautiful job.
