Appliance Repair
It is very difficult to speak with a real person when dealing with Sears. Everything is a recorded phone message. I got at least 3 recorded reminders of the scheduled service appointment . On the date of the service I got a recorded message that the sevice person was behind schedule and a new time was scheduled. I was to call another number if I was not available
The service person was very competent but expensive. I called a couple of other repairmen from Angie's list and they would have done the repair for about $50 less. My bad for assuming that when a Sears appliance breaks down that Sears is the place to call for a repair.
When the problem is diagnosed, the customer must pay in full for parts and labor before the part is ordered and installed.
A coupon for 20% credit on the repair was sent to me on the internet after the diagnosis and before the repair. The service person could not change my bill and It took 3 phone calls with different people to get the credit applied.

We had a great tech named Bogard (id# 2121) Who came out. He was very thoughtful and meticulous in his work. He started from the most simple to the more complex and fixed the root of the problem. (vs. guessing we might need "x" part replaced) Bogard serviced our Kitchenaid double drawer dishwasher. Few people have them and we have been frustrated with techs who have come out before saying they have experience and then just guessing at the problem. Bogard actually knows how to fix things. I would not hesitate to have him back if another appliance needed serviced in my home.

Cabinet Refacing and Refinishing, Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel + 2 more
They have been wonderful. We actually changed one thing and they were really great about that. They have a project manager that has gotten back to us. The person that did the cabinetry work is doing a really great job. He will be doing the flooring also. They have also done a great job on the countertops.

They did a good job. They were nice and I would give them a good grade for their performance but I felt they charged too much. I didn't do any price comparison. I would possibly hire them in the future.
