My experience was disappointing. The idiot Willamette Vet told me that the cat had acne. The cost was on the expensive side. I don't remember exactly what it was. It was a sick cat call, and I would not rate them very highly. I had gotten lucky the cat was able to see the regular Vet. You don't wait very long at all. I would less likely use them. Their interaction with my pet was good. The worse thing about them is that they are not always knowledgeable. The best thing about them is that they are open 24 hours a day.

We took our cat to Willamette Veterinary hospital for an eye infection. They were prompt, professional, and very kind to our cat. There service was outstanding! Instructions for medication and so forth were very clear and they demonstrated how to give our cat her two medications. Additionally, given that we utilized their services on a Sunday morning, we felt the cost was very reasonable. We hope we will not have to use their services again but will feel very comfortable in doing so if the need arises.
Also, please note that for the purposes of this review, the Angie's List functionality would not allow me to choose the actual vet location as the address where work was performed - we took our cat to their location.

We spent a week trying to save an aged cat with kidney failure. I went in daily for pill administration and sub Q's .. all of the nurses, vet techs, and frontline line receptionists were extremely caring and thoughtful. Ultimately, we had to euthanize our beloved pet. Dr. Goldthorpe is the person we choose to help our pets, and she is the most compassionate, patient veterinarian medical professional we have ever had the good fortune to use for our family's needs. Euthanasia is never an easy decision or process, but Dr. Goldthorpe's gentle, caring manner helped guide us through the pain as softly as possible. Willamette facilities are some of the finest, including a quiet, comfortably furnished grief/waiting room with a pleasant outdoor courtyard attached. It was the perfect place for us to say our goodbyes .. the Dr. then administered end-of-life drugs in the same place, so our cat didn't have to be disturbed and shuffled around, or sitting on a hard examining table in the bright lights. I only wish all veterinarians were as skilled at the compassionate 'people side' of the business as Dr. Goldthorpe. We want our pet families to be well cared for, but we also need their people to be part of the comfort equation .. Dr. Goldthorpe understands this. We thank her for both her technical skills and her good heart.

They are extremely knowledgeable and do fabulous work. They can keep animals overnight or can also recommend other places if needed.

WVC became our vet when we moved to Corvallis when dog was about 8. They provided excellent preventive care and care for occasional illnesses. We declined knee repair at one point as too expensive; turned out not to disable dog after all. But the vet was overly willing to sell us expensive procedure. Dog developed belly tumor this year; they supported her and us us very well until it was time to put her down.

They were really friendly. He's a professor at the vet school he knows what he is doing. I have been going there for twenty years. Their prices are average. They give you an estimate before they do anything.

One of the things I like about them is that there is a veterinarian on call 24 hours a day. So, if I have a problem in the middle of the night, I can go there. They are very good with the animal owners. They are very thoughtful, courteous, and very empathetic to people, who are have their animals go through difficult times. I am really impressed with them at every level.

An awful experience, at a very stressful time. Our dog was dying and we were all treated very poorly.

She did a thorough physical exam. She was thorough and sensitive to the cat, finding a large amount of ear dirt which she promptly removed.

It was, of course, extremely stressful due to the emergency nature of the visits. All the people were very caring and friendly and tried to help me feel better. They seemed very kind to the cat. One time, they were very busy with other emergencies, so they kept my cat overnight until they could care for him. They were very willing to answer questions over the phone.

Exceptional care and caring. This staff goes as far as you are willing or able to go to cure your pets disease or as in Dewey's case, his mental health issue. The outcome has been an exceptionally happy and healthy cat. The clinic also treats my 4 pets: 2 other cats and 2 dogs. I feel confident that all of their health care needs are well-met and Dr. Joey Goldthorpe is an exceptionally knowledgeable and caring veterinarian. Diane White
