We worked with Felix extensively. He did a great deal of figuring out exactly what parts we needed and what was compatible. He had a last minute change to make that should have kept us from getting a discount offered at the time. He took it all in stride and made it work for us. He was great to work with. Have done business here before and they are great to work with.

Excellent quality dishwasher at a good price. Installation, which had it's challenges, was well handled. Tenants are very happy with new dishwasher.

I had to call twice to learn the status of the order ie: if it had come in and schedule an install date. After that everything went smoothly. The installers arrived at the appointed time, preformed a very professional and careful installation. They explained the operation of the stove and made sure we were happy with the installation. We are very pleased overall.

The repair went well. The service person was courteous, kind, and knowledgeable about what he was doing. He was very patient in explaining why the dish washer was not working, what needed to be done, and went through the steps as to how he would fix the machine while he was working on it. He also took the time to test out the machine before he left, to make sure it worked well. He also had a very good sense of humor about everything, which I enjoyed. He clearly explained to me how I should operate the machine without putting overbearing pressure on the touch buttons. The machine is still working marvelously at this point. I felt pretty pleased with the work done on this machine.

From the very first service phone call, to the installation, each employee was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They provided the utmost of customer service, were very sensitive to our expectations and it was a very positive experience. We loved being able to deal with a local retailer, and they provided personable customer service. We will definitely recommend them and use them in the future for all of our large appliance needs.

Bryan, the service man, knows the appliances very well, is very careful about such things as making sure the power supply to the appliance was properly grounded (the original installer did not ground it). He had previously repaired the ice-cube maker in our refrigerator exhibiting the same level of knowledge and competence and gave us several useful hints concerning the operation of the ice-maker.

The lighter to our gas oven went out about a week before Thanksgiving. We called the business and the woman on the phone was very helpful and concerned that they might not be able to get to us due to the high volume of repairs they had to do before holiday. We understood and it helped that our oven wasn't needed immediately. Somehow, they were able to fit us in a couple days before Thanksgiving.
The serviceman was prompt, polite, and quick. He was very nice, not too chatty, and took care to clean up any mess he may have made.
Overall, the business seems to really care about their customers, even for a small job. We'll definitely use this company again, whether it's for repairs or to buy appliances in the future.

The refrigerator compartment gradually warmed up until it was not cold enough to prevent food in the refrigerator from spoiling (the freezer compartment never did warm up). I called Stover, Evey, and Jackson and was given helpful advice by the person who answered my call, who also scheduled a service call. Their first service opening was several weeks in the future, and she offered to put us down for an earlier call if an opening became available. The serviceman did call and come by early, at the end of a workday. His scheduled return call was also rather far in the future, but again he contrived to work us in before the scheduled appointment. The waits were long, but we felt that they did everything they could to accommodate us. The first bill for the service, oddly, showed the charge in the and quot;30 to 60 daysand quot; box, but as far as I know, this error had no consequences.
On the one hand, it did seem that we had to wait rather a long time for service; on the other hand, this all took place during the weeks immediately before and after Thanksgiving, which is no doubt a very busy time for them. The advice we were given over the phone turned out to be correct--we followed it and it worked. All in all, we were satisfied with the company and were very satisfied with the serviceman.

When it was time to get a new dishwasher, my wife and I wanted to shop local, as it supports the local economy. Although we've lived here for nearly 10 years, it was the first occasion we have had to purchase a major appliance. So we decided to try Stover, Evey and Jackson, to see what they had to offer. The selection was pretty good, and they were also willing to order any makes or models not in the showroom (other than store brands like Sears), and they gave quotes on the prices. Their prices were somewhat lower ($40-50) than MSRP in every case but definitely not as much of a discount as large volume dealers could offer. (We also realized that out-of-town dealers would probably have had a delivery charge, too.)
The sales person was very helpful in answering our many questions about the features of different machines. She also saved us some money by not pushing the more expensive (stainless steel interior) machines, which we did not need since the mineral content of our water is low and poses no staining problems. There was no pressure to close a deal quickly, and no pressure to get features that we had no interest in. We paid about $350 for the Maytag we settled on. Scheduling our installation was easy, and we had to wait only a few days for it. The installer showed up on time and did a competent job. The installation cost was $125 (plus a nominal amount billed later for a new water service line).
In years past I have tended to go for the lowest cost; but I've come to the realization that this is an overly simplistic approach to doing business. Buying local provides benefits not only for the local economy but also for me -- in the form of more personalized service and building an ongoing relationship of trust with local businesses. I don't know how to put a dollar value on this; but I am certainly willing to pay a bit more for these long-term dividends.

We spent a couple thousand dollars but we had rebates. They were really good. They were cheaper than a big box store.

They are very good with helping me on the phone, helping me figure out what part I need, and ordering the part based on me giving them the model number and serial number. I just have not had them come out to the house and repair an appliance. I have only used them for parts for my appliances. They also do large appliance repairs but I haven't used them for that. They are very helpful. I would recommend them. They have a helpful customer service department. As long as you have the make, model and the serial number of your appliance, they can pretty much get you anything, whether they sell the brand or not. No one really likes the price of parts but it is not their fault. They probably just charge what they get charged. One time, they had to look up the price and call me back so they were very responsive. They got right back to me.

They were awesome. We had another dishwasher company and we were disappointed with them because the unit wasn't cleaning and it was leaving a lot of water inside the unit. After I got a new one replaced the unit does what we want it to do and we are focused more on quality. They came to the house, did the install and took away the old unit. While doing the install they realized there was a leak so they put in the new fitting but that didn't solve the problem. They came back with a different part, fixed that and it still was leaking. They came back the third time and they fixed the problem and they were very diligent about putting tissue paper or news paper underneath the unit and asked us to check if there was any drops or leaks to give him a call. We monitored it, there were no more leaks and it was all good to go. They were local qualified technicians who knew about this. We are definitely going to go back to them in the future when we buy our appliances after a remodel.

They over charged me. The quality of work was fine. They were good in responding and were very punctual. They were pricey and I won't use them again in the future.

The serviceman arrived on time and was very professional. After looking at the stove he told me it needed a new thermostat and that he was sorry but it needed to be ordered. He returned a few days later, installed the new thermostat and oven light.
