Our home is an old, turn of the 19th century rambler with not a square corner or level floor to be found. Solid, funky and odd. Ravenwerks proved more than up to the job, which required creativity and patience. The result was fantastic. The new floors seem like they've been there forever. Even the strangest of transitions from crooked room to stair to baseboard seem completely organic. Kevin and Pete are easy to have around, if you can stand occasional polka music and their whistling duets. They are efficient, and when they leave there is no trace of their presence other than quality work. They are those rare artisans whose pride equals their skill, whose work ethic matches the most demanding of employers. 
I've done this sort of work myself and consider myself quite capable. But sometimes the job just has to get done and I can't afford the time. So I am more than a critical individual when it comes to hiring out work. I do not suffer inefficiency or corner-cutting. I would hire these two again in a moment.

I installed the cement board in the areas to be tiled and provided most of the tile as my wife and I had intended on doing the entire job ourselves, but decided to hire pros.  Kevin and his son poured the mortar bed for the shower pan, installed waterproof membrane over that, and did a beautiful job of installing the wall and floor tiles after I had waterproofed the stall.  My point is that Kevin was perfectly happy allowing me to do work where I could to save money and move the project along over weekends, etc.  They did very nice work setting large wall tiles on non-flat walls and fitting them around 6 body sprays, two shower heads, four flow valves, two temp valves and one hand shower and valve (lotsof 4-5 inch diameter holes with very tight tolerances).  They also gave great design advice and did a wonderful job interfacing around a window, an oddly shaped bench seat, etc.  The work took about twice as long as Kevin predicted (100 hrs & two guys for a little over two weeks total), but towards the end of the project, as time was getting tight, they put in extra hours working hard to get it done.  They were clean, very positive and WONDERFUL guys to have in our house.  And their choice in music was very relaxing and jazzy.  They masked door handles to avoid getting tile saw dust on handles, etc.  They were very polite, accomodating and just awesome.  I would hire them again in a second!
