He did a thorough job of prepping the house, pressure washing it, repairing any damaged wood, patching any unwanted holes.  We were asked to clip any foliage close to the house to leave 1 ft. of space for them to work.  However, he and his men moved the deck furniture and covered all of the deck plants to protect them during the process. We didn't have to worry about anything.  They were meticulous in masking everything and covering all the windows as they went, leaving light and air for us.  They respected our privacy, never beginning work until 9:15 or 9:30 and leaving by 5 PM.  They were "self-contained", not requiring a porta-potty on the property.  They used a combination of spray, roller and brush, covering everything completely. Phil was here the entire time and was the one painting with the brush, checking for thoroughness.  They cleaned up completely.  The work was completed during the scheduled time.  They were even great about dealing with some yellow jacket nests which we discovered and had removed during their time on the job. 

Great. Phil did a good job of surface preparation and color matching on the main structures. I trust him for future work. He forgot to clean up the preparation paint chips, but compensated me with an appropriate discount on subsequent  rain gutter installation work on the shed.  I recommend his services.

The project went well from the agreed-upon pricing, to the one day finished project. My questions were courteously considered and the details were thoughtfully tended to with excellent solutions.

Phil responded promptly to my request for a quote and the price I got was very reasonable.  He was thorough, professional and friendly throughout the process - and just a nice guy to talk to.  Both he and his crew did quality work and kept me appraised of their progress and expected schedule.

Phil is a man of integrity and comes across with a soft spoken genuine persona that communicates that he really wants to do a good job and have his clients be satisfied with the job. 

This is the second time I have hired Phil to paint my house.  He does not hire a large crew to paint a house.  He does much of the work himself and has one other person help him.  He is very particular with the finished quality of his work.  He started painting my house just a few days before we had about a week of rain every day.  He was able to complete the job in a timely manner dispite the weather and do it without compromising the quality of the work.

I had questions about painting some interior louvered doors myself and he was very helpful in telling me how to do it properly.  He showed me the best kind of equipment to use and demonstrated the technique to me. 

There may be other painters who can complete a paint job in just a couple days with large crews.  I much prefer a person with just a few helpers who are focused on a very high quality job even if takes a few days longer.

I recomment Phil without reservation.  If he is available, i will always choose hm to paint my home.

Phil promised to complete the project in a week and kept his word even though he ran into a serious and unforseeable problem installing the new tile that required him to tear out his first installation, buy new tile, and install it. He did the reinstallation on his own initiative and own expense. A month later a new tenant moved in and complained that he could not get the shower to operate. Since I was out of town, I called on a Sunday morning and asked him to fix the problem. Without objection, complaint, or charge, Phil fixed the problem and called me back 2 hours later. Phil explained that the shower was fine; the tenant (a visiting oceanographer from another country) just didn't know how to operate the faucet handle properly. Now that's service! I will use Phil again and would highly recommend his services.
