They did cancel our original appointment because of other customers who were without service. For our rescheduled service they arrived on time and did our maintenance in a timely manner.

In early 2008, I had the misfortune of hiring Middleton to replace a heat pump for a house that was (at the time) a rental. I have a written proposal from them that clearly states the pump has a 10 year warranty. However, when the unit broke down in 2014, Middleton refused to honor the warranty, saying that I had not sent in paperwork to the manufacturer. First, I was never told that I needed to send in paperwork; and second, Middleton never provided me any paperwork. They might have left something with the renter, which would have reflected incredibly poor judgment on their part.

Anyway, that repair cost me $946 (done by another company). Now, in April 2016, the compressor on the unit has stopped working and the entire heat pump will need to be replaced. I contacted Middleton again, and again they refused to honor the written warranty that they gave me in their proposal. This company has ZERO integrity in my experience, and their dishonest proposal is costing me thousands of dollars.

It was good.  Their service man was very friendly and he actually showed up early rather than making me wait.  He was very efficient, did the job and answered my questions.  He made sure he was thorough.

Communication was excellent from my initial contact with the office regarding when they would be available etc. The technician arrived timely and explained everything he was doing. He also made recommendations on what type of filter to use and explained why he would recommend it over my current filters. Cost was reasonable and I would highly recommend this company.

This seemed like a difficult project upon inspection because the house was built in 1940, there was no central heating, and obvious rhyme or reason to the electrical system.
At first, the workers seemed confused, as all they had from their office for installation purposes was a diagram, and it took 15 minutes to figure out how the house was configured.
Once the work actually started, the team was professional and courteous. They worked together as a two-person two, along with the two-person team of electricians.
We were appreciative that the workers also removed some broken baseboard heaters, improving the aesthetics of the indoors.
I would have liked the electricians to return for some additional small electrical issues.
One issue I had not been informed about was how big the inside heating units were to be.
Otherwise, generally pleased, although we will not use the heating units until cold weather, so it's unclear whether they will solve the problem we had with house heating.

The first members of the crew arrived a little late, but once they got here they fully dedicated themselves to the job. Everyone was professional, while also being courteous and friendly. A totally agreeable experience!

The Middleton Heating crew showed up about 30 minutes later than the designated time but once on site, all went very smoothly. The crew of three worked well together, were friendly and pleasant to talk with throughout the day (my husband and I spent the day at home to watch the installation...big day for us heating-wise!) and readily provided us information whenever we had questions. They were amenable to discussing alternate options when we asked about initial plans to run refrigerant/power lines up and through the low-pitch attic. They took pains to protect our finished hardwood floor by taping down drop cloths before work got underway. The crew cleaned up thoroughly upon completion of the installation. ONe of the crew took time at the end of the day to walk us through the basics of our hew heating system. As promised the installation was completed in one day (about 7 hours from start to finish).
We also had the crew scheduled to remove an old wall gas furnace. It took much longer to remove than expected but they stuck with it and got the unit out of its spot with no major damage to the wall. We very much appreciate their willingness to see that part through.
All said, we are VERY pleased with our new, super quiet heating system and with the installation experience.The job passed city inspection with no problems. We would recommend Middleton Heating for similar work and hired them partly on personal recommendation related to a similar installation for an organization we belong to. The Middleton quote was about $500 more than another quote we got but the recommendation sealed the deal for us.

I haven't gotten the bill yet. It was fine. The guy showed up on time and did his stuff. He didn't hang around or create any problems. He didn’t have to do anything but look at it.

Technician was great, Dan Trachsel, explained everything and checked other parts of system. Could easily have said "forget it" and did not do such. Also, charge needed, for example, was less than anticipated, and he did not take advantage of such. Very competent.

Went wonderfully. They did a quality job and got it done quickly.

I was satisfied with the job that this company performed. Everything was fine. They showed up on time. The job that they performed was satisfactory. I had no complaints.
